DJ Xyliana	Posted - 2006.02.10 23:23:00 - [1] Its that time of year again Valentines Day, well thatÆs my justification for trying to slip in a thread about love.. < puts on a very 90's 90210 high school teen accent > ThereÆs this guy right and we start dating and its all like awesome. < breaks down > I havenÆt played eve in weeks! I am training, thank goodness but I havenÆt been in game at all. Its all nice and sweet and he is such a nice guy but I donÆt know how to subtly get him back into playing Eve as much as I _want_ to! I even had my latest eon mag strategically placed on my pillow so he thumbs through it while I was in the shower. I think its getting a bit desperate, I am going to need to start taping EVE tech 2 ship posters to the ceiling. I donÆt want to be Captain Obvious and get him an Eve Membership card for Valentines, have any advice in subtly getting him back into game? That dont work, dump him for a better model! :p

HOWEVER, the best is to come right out with it and ask him to start playing (what warm blooded guy don't want to play eve? 0.o) I know I would (my ex still plays eve and loves it, we do have some friendly rivalry, but is good fun at times) definetly play again if I had given up and you asked me to. JeanLuc Picarde	Posted - 2006.02.13 11:40:00 - [22] as a old fart of the male gender my 2 isk; men arnt subtle in that fashion. we tend as a whole to prefer straight up suggestions if he doesnt already know you REALLY enjoy playing EVE then TELL HIM. then get a timecard. ask him to play. If he likes the game THEN give him the timecard. if he doesnt then use it yourself. if he doesnt play let him know that you really enjoy your mmog hobby and that you WILL be spending some free time on it. if hes worth his salt then he'll have not one problem at all with it. an ex of mine and I had hobbies that we shared and some that we didnt. Its part of a normal healthy relationship.
