CCP told a TTI exec long ago that they were working on a system for better logging combat to take care of situations like this. If they finished it, it was probably not active seeing as how the server crashed and all, but it may be available once a GM gets to your petition. -- "Never use a sledgehammer to drive a thumb tack." |

**** happens.
Really if you are to complain every time something is unfair, well... you have a lot to do for the rest of your life.
See it as a car accident, most ppl arent in them but some are. Nobody replaces their arms and legs either.
Well, not now at least, but mabye in the future.

Edited by: TheHornet on 01/09/2003 11:46:40 **** happens - true but if you loose a BS in a situation like this and you do not get at least a reply then i understand the mass of frustration and i understand the "CAPS"
CCP has to work on the consumer-support
but, dear victim, try to cool down, it's a game sometimes a frustrating one; it will not forgive you an error you make/made and it will not forgive you an error someone else make/made and it will not forgive you a crash of the node you are
but if you go out of the room, join the real MMOPG and "interact" a bit, you will find "your focus" again

*BUMP* - When a mission is failed, a ship is lost, or whatever - when something is lost as a direct result of technical problems at the server end or because of a bug in EVE, CCP should be willing and able to offer compensation for this - how hard is it for them to credit an appropriate amount to someone's account to at least offer some compensation for their loss? Virtually no time at all, so surely it's not so hard to implement something that would make a lot of PAYING CUSTOMERS happier.

I do understand Zeta, the customer support in those cases is not good. CCP should work on that. Actually I dont get 'em. We pay a lot of money for the game so it should be bug-free, also we keep on paying fees monthly, so CPP has a to keep us happy. Take a look at Neocron, another MMO Game - they are telling those poor players the addon/bugfix/improvement/everythingsGettingBetter(you call it) Patch will come out in about 2 to 4 weeks. They started doing so february and still nothing has happend. Everyone is quitting the game - thats the result. CCP look, it is very easy. You produced a good game - we payed for it, when we bought it - now your job is it to keep US the users satisfied and we will pay on - otherwise your company wont last too long, sorry to tell you that.

I so feel with Zeta, it happened to me and many others too and nobody cares. The system ivanova talks about doesnt exist. CCP will not helps us with lots ships as some might exploit this is the answer. All i can say is that with a decent logsystem they woul dbe able to analyze the situation and easily deduct if when we loose something that costed us so much work it was not our fault at all and implmenting this kind of logging should not be that hard (after all its all the info you send to the client, true you need alot of storage for it). But its getting very unfair that we are not being helped alittle with lost ships that are caused by tech problems and system crashes that are not OUR fault at all.
