"We want your guns, but leave the spoils and clean-up to us." That's what I take from that.
I suspect, however, that this response is due to the fear that the Syndicate detonation may be tied to a new wormhole phenomenon.

Pursuant to Section 12(a-b) of the LDRSS Charter, LDRSS is pleased to provide support to the Caldari Navy, and to the joint task force as so directed by the CEP of the Caldari State. We look forward to serving with the Navy once more, and hold every hope that the task at hand will usher in a new era of co-operation and communication between the major nations of the Cluster.
We also take this time to publicly announce the rescending of Section 12(g) of the LDRSS Charter. Section 12(g) now reads:
Section 12(g) Regarding the Caldari Providence Directorate [CPD]
LDRSS considers the CPD to be a defunct arm of the Caldari Executive Panel, disbanded by the will of the Panel following the destruction of Shiigeru. As such, all members of the CPD are to be considered acting without authority of the State. Actions taken by CPD members hold no special powers of authority and are to be handled by the law enforcement organization with jurisdiction of the event. LDRSS will act in full compliance with aforementioned organizations, will render aid where requested or reasonably able, and will defer when requested, as per Section 12(a-f) of the LDRSS Charter. |

OTSI once scribbled something on a napkin about the State and something about SuVee. I can't for the life of me remember what it was. We (I, obviously) will stand firm with the State and its ideals and thus anyone heading to whatever clustercoitus is currently brewing may purchase ships and ammunition from us.
At market prices.
Or above.

This seems highly suspicious. It was demonstrated in the Syndicate anomaly thread that the related authorities are either massively incompetent at basic triangulation or covering something up. Now all four empires, despite their years-long wars and beefs with one another, are suddenly working together and calling for capsuleer help? Not only that, but with just a single day's notice. And they're not telling anyone what their target is. And they don't want anyone to loot the field, pretty please.

I don't recall CONCORD ever being so insolent to think they can control capsuleers en masse. I suppose all those cyno jammers and EWar they have in highsec is giving them a sligh overdose on illusions of grandeur.

I don't think anything belonging to the sleepers is something to 'snuff at' as it were, but the Oruze Osobnyk sites have been present in Anoikis since it was first entered, and we see these sites in Anoikis in a regular basis. While we have no reason yet to rule out a connection to the sleepers, we also have no reason to particularly suspect them to be involved in this situation. We don't know anything at all, as a matter. the Empires are keeping us very much in the dark, and I think that should be the biggest cause of concern. Something got them working together. Something scared them so much that they're willing to put aside all present conflicts of interest and call upon the capsuleers. Something big is going down. We should be ready to act, but we shouldn't blindly throw our support behind the CONCORD fleet either. |

Well I doubt the Sansha are invading again so one could infer this has to do with another threat. And I highly doubt it's the Syndicate we're having to worry about. |

The most probably theory is that the detonation was caused by an artificial wormhole event unlike any witnessed before, then it's not impossible that this is Sansha-related. The Sansha are the only ones known to be able to generate wormholes, and I believe consensus is that the Sleepers and the Jove can also achieve this.
That said, Sleeper presence in known space is non-existent, and the Jove haven't been heard from since-- since when?
Still, we'll have to see what we find. |

I remember a waaaays back that there was a news article about a massive bulk of something moving through wormhole space. They said it was a capital ship equivalent and not identifiable as any known ship. I wish I remembered where the stupid article was but...I remember it. |

I will attend. It must be something serious if they are gathering this kind of force.
But I fear that we will see things go horribly wrong fast the moment someone decides to go against the directives of this operation. I've seen too many times that as a whole, we capsuleers are mostly interested in destruction and getting as much glory as possible.

It would be nice to know what security level of space we're expected to traverse at the least. Though with the Syndicate business I guess it's best to assume nullsec or wormhole space.
It is interesting to me, however, how far apart Sarum Prime and Meves are from each other spatially. |
