PirateShampoo	Posted - 2006.02.11 14:38:00 - [1] This game has been running for 4 years now and during that time ive try'd to experiance that game to its full potentail which included going to -10 and pirating. Now if ur like me and the only real time ur in 0.0 is to kill people ur pretty screwed when it comes to wanting to get ur neg sec back down. So i would like to ask CCP for a 1 off amnesty or something to us -10 guys. Ive pumped at least 300 euro into the pockets of CCP and just asking for this 1 little favour in return and i proise to b a good boy. Think of it has a 100,000 user cellibration where in like the days of old kings would free the prisoners if it was a big enough cause of celibration

Give us the possibility to hold client-local data for each name in Local Chat (make it transferable from client to client). Mark players mit such infos in Local (Colored Flags/Sound).

I can understand you seeing the game as running for 4 years if you were in Beta, but it was released to the general public and on the shelves as retail in May 2003, so were are just coming upto 3 Years in a few months time. But in response to your full post, I think sometimes it can be a little too hard to get back from -10.0 but then again you maybe you should have thought about the consequences before you got that low a security rating. Oh and Bribing Dev's doesn't get things done from my perspective Unless of course you offer them Beer ------------------------------------------------- What happens to Snow when you Iron it? Your on Probation for one month for every point of sec you wanna gain back, and if you do ANYTHING to get a sec hit, you assume the original Sec status before probation, never to have it available again.

Not every -10 character out there wants to return to 0.0, just some guys who do. And because the only way to do this is to go npc in 0.0 there stuck with it. There needs to a a alternitive. It gives the victims of piracy, and the evil deeds you have performed the opertunity to extract revenge. maybe you could argue that the new kill rights feature has now replaced that, but then how do we restrict the evil-doers from entering the high -sec space? at the OP - i don't think there should be an amnesty, if you want lower sec stat you need to 'work' for it. whether that's NPC'ing (boring I know) or with the reintroduction of bribary agents (which I quite like, but the cost should be very steep for people at -10 and reducing slowly all the way back to say -2, which you can't be bribe past). _____________________________________ The zenith of hypocrisy.

TekRa	Posted - 2006.02.11 17:37:00 - [25] you have to work hard to get your isk (well, some people do), so if they (re?)introduce the bribary system then you're still working to up your sec status, just now the only way isn't NPC'ing. and if the price was high enough it'd be another one of those wunderful isk sinks, and also prevent people from just using it every time they pop a hualer. it's easy to travel in low sec space, so those that get caught by the rats just need to pay a little more attention. tbh it's practically your fault that pirates are pirates. if you weren't so easy and tempting to kill, what would be left for us to do? _____________________________________ The zenith of hypocrisy.
