I have L energy turret lvl5 and L beam spec lvl4. I know that the spec skill only boosts the T2 gun. Will the T1 skill only increase damage on T1 guns and not on T2?

The T1 skills increases the damage on both T1 and T2 weapons.

T1 skill affect both T1 & T2
T2 skills i.e. large energy specialation affect only T2

Wierd, maybe. Its just that my question isnt documented anywhere and I wasnt sure. And no, I didnt buy this char. All trained by myself since ¦03.

Tacyon II*Large Energy Turret V, Surgical Strike IV, Large Beam IV
5.1*1.25*1.2*1.08=8.262x damage mod

You could have checked the info on a T1 and a T2 gun fitted and unfitted and compared for quick reference and to be sure the skill does what it states or doesn't state.
Specialization would be really pointless if the base skill would not apply to the T2 weapons.
