I can understand to a certain point why CCP in their infinite "wisdom" decided to take away the use of either an Ab or MWD whilst in warp; the griefing noncing pirates amongst us were complaining too much about their prey being able to escape the blockades.
My grouch, is that I am sick of being either stuck on an asteroid after a kill, or stuck on a station whilst entering warp. My battleship is not the fastest craft in the galaxy by any means, but at least before, I was able to use my MWD and get myself out of a "sticky" situation. If CCP continues to keep it this way, and I have no reason to think they will change it back to the way it was, then at least include a "warp cancel" button so we may either use an Ab or MWD to get away.

They used to have a cancel warp, but it was exploited to break locks. A quick fix is simple, after 1-2 minutes have warp cancel it's self. Still better then loggin out for 2 mins.
But since it took 3 weeks to fix Sensor Boosters, I don't see this getting fixed anytime soon. I keep coming to the conclusion that CCP feels there too many big ships and losses to exploits and bugs is fine with them.

The current system is workable, but you have to get used to manually manouvering away from objects that might get you stuck - AB/MWD yourself away from a station or belt before activating the autopilot.
And if it comes down to it and you get stuck, simply log out of the game for a few minutes,a nd you'll come back to an unstuck ship --

""And if it comes down to it and you get stuck, simply log out of the game for a few minutes,a nd you'll come back to an unstuck ship""
Since when did logging out of a game become the 'reasonable' solution to something that happens 100s of times daily? 'Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law' |

Patience is a virtue friend. How many times can you "keep coming to this conclusion" when there hasn't been a patch in weeks?
They're working on it, if they're not fast enough for you go play some other game whiner.
