I had the pleasure of flying with Smoske for a long time. It's great that you have done this! Big Respect. A fitting tribute to a man that loved this game so much.

Glad to see this. RIP Smoske.
And may I suggest to the community in general, that whatever happens in the future regarding this area of space, the station will keep this name forever? Just a nice gesture I would think.

We were on ventrilo with Moby when he received the eve-mail from Tribal Souls regarding the Smoske memorial, a few days ago.
From the emotion in his voice, I could tell he was genuinely touched by the gesture, and for that I can only say, "respect".
Tribal Souls is a class act. Big props.

Though I do not know Smoske personally, nor do I carry any political weight in my following suggestion. But seeing as how the 1 year anniversary, of SmoskeÆs passing is coming up in less then 2 months, I would like to propose a temporary cease fire for the entire south. This cease fire would begin at 00:00 Eve Time on Saturday the 7th of April (the day of SmoskeÆs passing) and end at 23:59 on Monday the 9th (the day Moby made the post of SmoskeÆs passing). During this time we should also hold a remembrance meeting at the Smoske Memorial station in TS Space. Smoske from everything I can gather was one of those very special people to ever grace a game such as EVE. Again I have no authority to ask that this happen but I VERY STRONGLY ask that it does.
PS. Gritt I know I'm not suppose to post here Fine me 10x the cost I... just was compelled to post this.

It would be nice for CCP to name a system after him (in maybe Jove space)...... and any other remembered and never forgotten out there.

I'd think a system in 0.0 land where thier impact was known. I dunno, example would be to name 36N after Rampage.

WoW guess i really didnt know the impact this would have.And it reminds me how small the eve universe is.
Most of the founding members of my corp were from ION.
So when the name was suggested i didnt hesitate to say YES make it so.
I am glad to see such support for this and CHOSEN FATE will hold this station till we are out of ships to fight in.

If I can be of any assistance in promoting the memorial ceasfire thru my radio show then please contact me, like I say, didnt know him other than one conversation and one fleet outing back in the FU days but I would be happy to promote a worthy cause.
