I've had my enyo for a few days now and i want to hunt bs's in 0.0, Sansha rats to be precise.
Also no need to tell me to buy a bs to hunt I want to try and get the max out of this ship and i think this is a good test for survivability.
HIGH-SLOTS : Light Neutron Blaster II Light Neutron Blaster II Light Neutron Blaster II Light Neutron Blaster II
MED-SLOTS : Gistii A-Type 1MN Afterburner X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator
LOW-SLOTS : True Sansha Energized Thermic Membrane True Sansha Energized Reflective Membrane Small Armor Repairer II Micro Auxiliary Power Core I
I use the MAPC because I need it to fit the neutrons for the extra damage, but is it worth it?
Any good ideas are appeciated

the MAPC is definately worth it. Nice setup, exactly like mine except for the faction stuff. ---------------------------

Hehe cool i'll probably dumb down the cost of the ship once i have hull upgrades to lvl 5 for the T2 energised membranes. Though i think the gistii ab is a much for keeping the speed high and reducing damage.

I wouldn't have thought a tracking disruptor to be much good for NPC hunting, since it's only one NPC you'll disrupt and normally you face a few at a time...
Original setup looked good, suprised you have the CAP to repair for any length of time though - pretty sure I went for the following last time I used it:
High: 4 Light Ion Blaster 2s, 1 Arbalest Rocket Med: 1 Gistii AB, 1 X5 Low: 1 SAR II, 1 hardner, 1 cpr, 1 magstab II

Edited by: captian jackharkness on 12/02/2006 19:49:44 It's the cap which will be a problem IF i need to repair. Which i'm trying to reduce this with the fast speed the gistii provides and the resistance membranes. With my skills i get over 80% on both EM and Thermal hopefully it'll keep me alive long enough to survive
I've mastered the Harpy (well i think i have ) and the Enyo's my new project. I could make it easy on myself and get a Jaguar for these sansha's.

4x light ion II 1x rocket launcher II w/ rat specific rocket
1x ab II 1x cap recharger
3x mag stab II 1x small armor rep II
Used it with great success for 0.0 ratting, I guess the only problem, if you could call it one would be the constant docking to drop off loot and pick up more ammo.

Ill share my setup that works wonders :)
High: 4x small neutrons tech II
Med: AB Cap charger II
Low: 2x mag stab II cap relay named small repper
Runs everything indefinatly and can take out most BS spawns ive encountered (gurista anyways)

Wouldn't you get more damage if you used ions and a mag stab instead of mapc?

from the stats i dont think i would. but i have a setup now which doesnt need the mapc, which is:
HIGH-SLOTS : Light Neutron Blaster II Light Neutron Blaster II Light Neutron Blaster II Light Neutron Blaster II
MED-SLOTS : 1mn Afterburner II X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator
LOW-SLOTS : True Sansha Thermic Plating True Sansha Reflective Plating Small Armor Repairer II Power Diagnostic System II
Less resists but only by 3-4% on EM and Thermal. The Gistii had to go because it uses 2 more grid than i have spare though this setup is a little more cost effective

Edited by: Cadiz on 12/02/2006 23:44:19 Neutrons get better per-shot damage, but ions + rocket launcher + mag stab equals better overall DPS. And overall DPS is what you need to break the tanks of big 0.0 battleships, yo.
Also, don't bother with hardeners vs Sanshas. You have a natural 60% vs EM and...67.5%? vs Thermal. Furthermore, you're almost never going to get hit by battleship rats provided you do things properly (don't approach directly, etc); make sure you kill the small ships first then work your way up. So yeah, you'll want to jam on more mag stabs and/or cap relays instead.
Trust me on this one: when you are 0.0 ratting in an AF, DPS is your primary concern - unless the idea of spending 10-odd minutes killing a single battleship rat is your idea of efficiency & fun, anyways.

tracking distruptor on the largest target, and orbit that, adn then take out the other smaller frigates etc that are close enough to hit, and then take out the target you are orbiting, and then kill anything else. often you can orbit the ship and fracking distrupt another one, and not be hit by anything.
