Hi,
I had to re-install eve. I tried to install from web it failed so I have downloaded the executable and two other files, both files and executable are in the ccp file.
Trying to use executer just says not working download manually  |

Isn't the 'convenience' of the Launcher just wonderful ?
Joking aside, we need a lot more detail about specific errors and other things happening in order to offer any real help here. |

I have downloaded both files and executer file from here : eve files
So I have already downloaded 6 gig of data all files are in the CCP file on my computer.
When I run the executer as shown in the link it just goes back to saying the fault above archive 3 and to download manually again.
I have downloaded repair tool and put in ccp file this also tries to download the data again
downloaded launcher file it also tries to download the 6 gig again.
so basically I cannot get the bloody thing to offline install with the files CCP have given |

Actually, I imagine you do the best you can actually. It is all about location and availability. I feel for you though, it sucks waiting for a big download when you just want to play the game and enjoy it :).

I didn't mind the first time twice is a PITA, moved internet supplier due to cost but @ 1/4 the speed and fibre isn't available with this provider here yet |

Wow. I have no idea even why the Web installer wouldn't work, unless you have anti-virus scanning after automatically loading and doing it's thing. |

I hear ya :). Truth be told, I didn't know ElQuirko was messaging also. I was just joking around, that is all. Sometimes you have to laugh to feel better. I guess it was a bit premature :).
I used to be stuck on Dial Up a decade ago because Cable didn't come out that far. It was very annoying. 10 hours for 100MB, I hated it. Now I have cable and it cost me dearly. I know your pain, believe me.
I hope you get your installer working though. Eve is kinda fun, it is definitely different than most space genre out there.
