Please change the spawn point for the blockade away from the gates.
I have had other player shoot and kill the rats , steal the loot and once I even had some dude in a logistics ship repairing the rats im supposed to kill .
Thx. -The mind is strong and the flesh is weak, but oh the flesh... |

Read the mission text, it has to be near a Stargate. But don't worry, this mission will disappear in the future mission change patch.

Happens all the time - to stop them stealing your bounty, simply shoot each rat that spawns once. That way the bounty is yours no matter what... a pain, I know... experienced it lots of times.
Originally by: Oberon Oblique ...steal the loot
This is the main reason I do this in my Cerberus now... just let some twit try steal my loot and I'll pop his sorry little ass.

In my opinion, this is griefing. I recommend you file a petition against this person under harassment. Every other MMORPG I've played, has had this filed under griefing.
CCP should do one or more of the following to disuade the repairing of pirates: a) summon Concorde; b) Criminally flag the person to EVERYONE; c) Slap them with a -5% hit to all anti-pirate factions.

the blockade i think might be my favorite non deadspace l4 mission so far, it's simply fun with pure battleship fighting (well, allmost)
the crusier swarms and their spamm in other missions realy ain't that fun in compersion, just annoying
hope they add somthing similar insted! :D

I dunno why but that made me laugh so fcking hard. -- Anyway.. Yeah I totally agree, Although my main problem isn't people jumping in and helping. It's the fact that they try to take my loot from me while i'm killing (Yes I always have my gaurd up anyway.) It's not that big of a problem because it's usually a noob so I just say 'Gtfa my cargo.' and they leave.

Pre-criminal flagging, I had some tosser in an Inty come and start taking the cans while I was still there in my Raven.
I locked all the cans and blew them up
He was raving in local that I might be "blowing up Arbalest launchers"...and I said that yes, I might, but since he was in a small, fast ship and I was in my tug of a Raven, at this point I was actually blowing up HIS Arbalest launchers.
This information was not well received by him.
Sometimes, I wish they'd remove the flagging rules again

Other missions spawn stargates with the rats. I don't recall the name of it but my level 3 agent gives me one such mission from time to time, there's a few Blood destroyers, intys and 1 Crusier, an Amarr stargate, surrounded by deactivated Amarr sentry guns, and the gate is surrounded by an EM forcefield. Other's will remember if they've had it, you get bounced out of the forcefield which you land in when you warp in and get sent flying in a random direction at over 5KM/s and end up 100-200KM from the last rat depending on which direction you are 'launched'.

I fit a tractor beam and constantly approach the bs so I'm within 10km at all times. Once they pop just lock on and suck the cans in. Blockade will take you no more than 10 minutes or so and youll have your cans scooped into your cargo bay in no time.

Blockade probably predates Exodus. The mission you speak of is one of the new RMR "deadspace" missions.
Blockade WILL disappear, and there will probably be a "deadspace" mission to replace it.
As for other missions with stargates, I believe Enemies Abound 5/5 has one, as does one of the two new 3/3 missions.

My favorite mission ever is or was the L4 pirate business. A huge blob of faction ships at a gate, including some industrials.
Every so often, pilots came in, saw the indus and started approaching or shooting them. Their guards (white crosses for pilots not doing the mission, so not obvious ...) turned around and politely freed the pods from the ships..
Sometimes they did anyway when someone came to the gate with low enough faction standing just because. --*=*=*-- Megadon CCP wanted a well known artist and celebrity to test the new font so it's approval would be well known. They got Ray |
