As the title says, just a suggestion, but make them hi/med slot modules.
At the end of the day scramblers should fall into the same catagory as Nos. They're a weapon. Weapons use hi slots.
Stabs are defense (like shields) so they should go to a med slot.
Bring on the camper flames.

This would be REALLY unbalancing.
Imagine now people with sniper tempests and armageddons fitting 2 WCS in their two extra high slots.
Now they'd be able to fit their usual two WCS without lowering their damage. So you'd get every single sniper out there with both full damage AND WCS. -- Proud member of the [23].

What slot do I put the "stop blobbing the f3ck outta me" module in?
As a pirate I have to know these things 
Especially since so many carebears get hard ons and are joined by an alarming number of my fellow pirates in calling for WCS to be nerfed.

You can stick it in the slot where nothing else ever goes probably..
I don't mind sensible replies to suggestions, but "stop being a carebear" doesn't fall into that catagory.

The problem is, the ships weren't made with this in mind at all.
Take for example the apoc. That poor thing is rather done for if it has to use scramblers in its highs. It doesn't have a utility slot thus has to scarifice some damage in order to keep its target in place. Wether or not you think it should is irelivent, keep reading.
Now we compare this to a tempest, he doesn't have to sacrifice much damage, hardely any when compared to the apoc in order to keep his target looked in place. As a matter of fact, the tempest could have 2 disruptures on and still be doing damage on par with the apoc that has none.
Its just as bad for many outher ships. And the funny thing is, you would have the 'tackling' class of interceptors, being out done by the damage class (ie stilleto vs claw) when it comes to holding a target in place. The ishtar would very quickly become the OMG-UNBALANCED HAC of the day. Holly jeez, imagine the support craft the BB and Rook would soon become if you had a damage dealer beside them, jamming and scrambling for 6 points, who wouldn't want to fly with that?
Further, jammers, damps, tracking disruptures, all fall under the same general skill tree. If your going to move scramblers to a high slot, might as well move these as well. They are everyway simular to scramblers, as they are an offensive mod, that doesn't do damage. Though your then going to have lots of trouble balancing the scorp, and well every other BS out there because of that.

And armor? True its easier for most ships to free up a low slot rather then a low slot, not to mention most have more lows then mids, so I support this change. But high slot would be better IMO. There roughly an equal amount across all classes, not so with mids and lows. But then you run into a problem with ships that have a utility slot or two as well.

These threads are popping up FAR too often. Warp Scramblers and stabs are fine as they are.
Can this topic PLEASE be locked / deleted; I'm fed up of reading this tripe every 5 minutes.

EW belongs on mid-slots. EW is a weapon, but one that causes no damage, merely degrades the target's performance. Nosferatus are arguably a high energy weapon, and belong on high slots, although their effect is similar to mid-slot EW. WCS are a propulsion subsystem, so belong on lows, or some could argue mids.
There is no reason to change anything, because nothing is broken. Unless you want sentry-tanking multi-scrambler Scorps on every low-sec gate.

Why not just make them different tiers, ones for battleships, ones for cruisers and ones for frigates with different varying power and cpu usages. _______________

How about: Forget about WCS all together and make it so that all ships have +2/3 warp strength or something like that. However, when a weapon is fitted to the ship it loses its warp strength... That way it solves WCS in combat issue and still means that people who currently use WCS on indy ships/barges/unfitted ships for transporting etc dont get nerfed
