OK - haven't seen a post for this, so heregoes...
I'm having trouble with setting up this ship - I have covert ops at LVL4 and have the following setup:
High: Covert Ops Cloaking Device II (other 2 emtpy atm) Med: 1mn ABII, Cap recharger, Small Cap Battery II Low: 2 x CPR, 1 Nanofiber
Now I have some CPU left (about 50) and some powergrid, so I could fit a couple guns on there, but I know of Buzzard pilots who can fit a Scan Probe Launcher in there too. Is this not possible with the Anathema ?

well just wondering why you need such a fast cap recharge?

The battery is to help me warp longer distances and the CPRs are basically there for no other reason than they do something, but have almost no fitting requirements.
The scan probe launcher requires 220 CPU, whereas the Anathema has a base CPU of 220 The buzzard has about 300 however...

Hmm.
Firstly, you should have enough CPU. There are various skills you can screw around with to do this - you need a good covops skill to recover all that CPU from your cloak, and then electronics etc.
Secondly, if you don't need those CPRs I'd go with more nanos
Personally, I like a fairly flexible setup - the obvious cloak, scan launcher, passive targetter, AB, MWD, cargo scanner and a bunch of nanos. Now obviously you don't have them all online at once, but having them all fitted gives you a nice amount of tactical flexibility on an op. You can switch between AB and MWD depending on the situation, and swap our your probe launcher for the ability to passive-scan people who aren't shooting you yet, such as hostiles on the empire side of a 0.0 bottleneck.

Unfortunately you gotta cram the low slots with Co-processor IIs to fit a probe launcher + cloak, unless you maybe have Covert Ops 5.
The pictures Wrangler didn't want you to see! |
