i jumped but the screen didnt fade i sat there for a few mins and nothing happend. I couldnt do anything so i shut the game down and turned it on again. When i get to where you pick your name i click on my name the screen fades and it loads my name.Then the screen stays black. Nothing happens. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have the same problem.
Almost looks the same as the problem we had a few days ago. Stuck at character selection, no error this time though...

im going to try reinstalling im 90% sure it wont do anything but ill do it anyway.

I'm in the same situation - was gating from Ammold to Emolgranlan, so I'm stuck.
If you were travelling to or from the two stuck systems, that's why you're getting this.
Should be fixed soon, or probably reset at the daily reboot.

Yep. Same problem here. I got stuck jumping to Scolluzer. I had read the news about it but didnt check my AP route before seting it off prior to going AFK for 5 mins. Silly me.
I hope it will be fixed by tomorrow.

This is another bug that has been in the game since day one... sometimes u get "stuck" as jumping through a gate - you will be freed at downtime! Just it's, of course, annoying as hell when it happens! 
Hasn't happened to me for a long time *touch wood* but when it did I'd create an alt-char, file a petition, and wait til after the next downtime... and yes, I've lost a lot of money-making and skill-training time over this bug! (and it ain't just me!  )
