It was a year since i tried doing missions for my R&D agent so i have some questions about it. Does the level of the agent reflect how hard a mission will be or is it random difficult level? If I fail a mission will that affect the standings or will I only miss out on the extra RP/day increase? Is the type of mission(kill/haul/mine) also random or is it always kill missions?

AFAIK, you don't actualy run missions for the R&D agent. In order to increase your standing with him/her, you need to run missions for other agents from the corp he belongs to, where you can then choose what type of agent you want (from whats avalible of course).

Think you misunderstand me here. Every other day you get a mail from him saying he need help with something and when you help him you get an increase in RP/day for 1 day. Or is that feat gone?

No, it's still there, but they don't pester you each day if you ignore them they don't send another mail although the mission is still there if you visit the agent.
With my agents it always seems to be go buy me something fro somewhere missions!

Yeah it helps a little. What level of agent did you use? And was the difficult level set after that level?

If you fail a mission, I'm not sure, but if you decline it you only miss out on RPs.
The type of mission is random--I've never gotten a kill mission though.
I'd assume the level of the agent has the to do with the level of the mission.

You get 50% courier and 50% trade missions

but IMO they're not worth doing. Maybe the changes in the next big patch will change that.

Alrite... all is clear, I made few missions... but what to do with RP???? Im wery happy to have them but what for are RP?

RP = Research Points
Basically each RP is a ticket for the Tech2 BPO lottery. By doing the daily mission you get +100% of your daily RPs and nothing else. No faction/corp standing increase, or other reward.
FYI, I don't know if I would call any level R&D 'mission' difficult. I believe they're all trade/fetch/courier missions, as was said.
