Rupture or Rifter... or even Stabber?
Which is better? My current net worth is about 23 million.

I would use a stabber
3x 220mm 2x Rocket Launcher II Medium NOS
MWD Web Scram
2x nano Medium armour rep
Puts an end to frigs with ease, and should be able to handle pretty much all cruisers. Problems could arise with well tanked caracals. It's possible to take down a brutix with this setup, fly it like you would an intercepter

With five million sheep in this army I seem to be the only one fit to command

Both!
Buy a rifter and a Stabber/Rupture.
experiment with them and see what you prefer.

It depends on how confident you are in PVP. The rifter is great, i've killed the odd cruiser in it. The stabber I think of simply as a bigger rifter. I'm trying this setup on mine currently:
4x Dual 180mm AC 1 1x Med nos 1x Small nos
1x 10mn AB 1 1x Warp scrambler 1 1x Web
1x 800mm plate 1x med armour rep 1x PDS
Fits with engineering 5, although it's not possible to fit 2med nos's on it. I only use basic t1 mods on it, and only stand to lose a mil or so on destruction because of that.
I haven't used the rupture much, but from what i've read and seen it can be one of the best solo cruisers out there. The stabber seems more suitable for tackling, but is still a good ship from what I can see. -------------------------------------------------- Observe how after his replying to this thread it will slowly sink to the bottom of the page. i can fit a very nice rupture that has a mwd so reaching them isnt a prob, but im scared to use it because if i lose it i lose a lot more money.. but i have potential to make more i guess... is it worth it over a rifter? i dont think i could take on cruisers solo in a rifter

If you have a clue about PVP, I think a rupture could take out any cruiser. I'd only get one when you feel completely ready to make the legup. If you go into a fight worried about how much your ship costs and how you don't want to lose it, you won't be fighting at your best. -------------------------------------------------- Observe how after his replying to this thread it will slowly sink to the bottom of the page. a stabber with 180s would be nice. get in close. he wont hit you much if at all. missile spammers always rain on the parade, so watch out for them.

I am confident in PvP just not in getting ganked and losing a few mill when I only have 25 to start with.

Buy the rupture, you can lose 2 stabbers to poorly fitted npc'er cruisers or go down in glory fighting off several f'off guys cos you raped their mining op besides in a 1v1 fight you dont need to much of a strong tank save a couple for stabs same with any ship that has plenty of low slots.

Use the Rifter then, it rawks and is easier on the wallet when you lose it.

Stabber with 3 medium nos and small AC is also amusing. ------------- Order of the Wombles: Recycling those untidy modules on your ship.
