woulnt that be nice...
small missiles/heavies/cruises changin targets if you click on another target (or if the target warps out)...
torps/rockets wounlnt do this since they are "un-guided"
maybe make an exeption for citadel torps....

yeah and all the turrets missing due to tracking and optimal range thats also a lot of damage wasted. i want my turrets to rebound off of everything until it hits a target and deals damage just like what u want ur missiles to do.....oh and also i want my turrets to make me coffee also

If it was only the defenders that change targets.... well, you know how many defenders actually miss if you launch 4 at once and their initial target is destroyed (for example a cruise missile)

Missiles should also have warp drives and follow targets warping away!

Back in the old days of being a missile user, they'd fly in a straight line and hit anything that got in the way. Fleet battles were fun cause I could kill corp members and blame it on them for being in the way.
I was the master at making sure they were in the way!
Missiles were useless on fast ships in empire because they could just go hide behind a stargate or station.
Torps also had splash damage and would insta pod someone as their ship exploded, they would also blow up other incomming missiles, that's one of the reasons you still see 2 sec missile spreads.
