Well...
This thread on the subject is available on the first forum page alone. It's often a good idea to browse a little or search the forum as most questions you have will have been answered before.

You can learn all about them from http://eve.grismar.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=InstaJumps. -- Lil Miner |

Edited by: Gadfly Hawke on 15/02/2006 16:32:13 The problem with instajumps at gates is the level of precision required to get a workable one. With asteroids, etc, you can be (at least it seems so to me) fairly sloppy and still get a good one. But, your bookmark has to put you within 2500m of a gate to work at all. This is a skill that takes a little time, and trial and error, to learn, at least it took me some time and I still don't really have it right. Until you do get a workable one you can't tell if you're using the right technique or not. ---------

Let's say you're making an insta from a station to a gate. You need to be 12km past the gate, and adjust your camera so you're looking at the gate. Ideally, you want the square symbol for the station, the roundish symbol for the gate, and your ship to be perfectly aligned ie. right on top of each other. If you can get as close to this as possible, at 12km range, you'll have made a good insta. If you use a fast ship, it shouldn't take too long. --------------------------------------------------

it is good to know how to make insta's
but you can't beat buying an entire region of insta's ready made to perfection
should cost about 5 mill per region. have a look in market escrow. or I bought some from character 2x4c which were top quality

Yeah instas bought off escrow are great. Until you are sent flying into an aggressive POS in your new battleship and get popped.
If you want to buy insta sets on escrow, research the sellers to find reputable ones (some people make a living from it). You might think the instas are great, but until you've checked every single system, you just don't know... --------------------------------------------------
