i have to take a break from EvE for about a week or so and i saw that i have the option to suspend my account. I don't want to pay for a week since i won't be able to play the game at all in that period.Now my question is, if i set a long skill training will that skill train while the account is suspended?

Could you point to a place where that is stated (an official FAQ or the like) I am thinking of suspending both of my accounts until the end of the semester (I only now keep them active to train and occasionally rat) so an official confirmation of this would be greatly welcome.

I don't think it has ever been stated officially, but many players (including myself) have tested it, and it works. The skill will keep training while the account is suspended.

So if I have game time left and need to go, I suspend my account for a few weeks, pick a long skill for the time and when it completes I activate my account again - do i lose the game time or do I start useing it from the same point I suspended it ?

Just one problem with this. You can only suspend an account at the end of the current play period. Which if you pay monthly might be usefull, but if you pay by half or whole year you don't have many changes to use it.

Training while suspended works, i got Gal-BS to level V, while having my account suspendended.
To suspend your account you simply do not renew it, when your gametime runs out.
I have not seen any option to suspend the account with gametime left so far.
You could try extreme annoying behaviour (trolling, offensive language) in the forums to get suspended for a while, dunno if the gametime runs on while being suspended that way, ask a moderator about that.
