Xaarist	Posted - 2006.02.16 09:17:00 - [72] who won? i mean, iwas there, but my zealot floated peacefully outside of the station for like 25 minutes until i crashed, logged on (10 minutes), 20 seconds of peaceful floating (nothing in overview, etc.), crashed again, logged on again (10 minutes). 1 minute of peaceful floating next to a gate (nothing in overview) and crashed again. logging back on, character selection, got a gang invite (YAY) and a shutdown in progress message (YAY) while staring at the "entering game as..." screen. never made it in again, heard on TS cluster went down and all the time people argueing if there was a fight going on or not, went to bad, and decided to petition 50000000 times if needed if i lost my ship. needless to say i frapsed some passages of free floating to watch it for relaxation reasons. just in case some GM would tell me stuff like "our logs do not show any abnormal cluster behaviour at that time, and we are truly sorry but can not reimburse you......" ---------------- (\_/) (O.o) (> <) This is an alien dressed as Bunny to secretly gain world domination.

It's a well known fact that they cause a tremendous amount of lag, while not being particularly responsive to the owner in a fight that big. FYI, some people know more languages than just English, and some people prefer to spit out their frustration in their mother tongue. So, if you turn on your brain (though some might need to turn it off), and translate those Russian messages in the chat to English, you will see that it is possible to sum them up to just three four words "i am ******* lagging". Also, since we can't play the way we want, nobody should. So, guys lets try to crash the servers again today, then tomorrow, and again, and again. The crash yesterday was not caused by any exploits, or whatever. The servers can't simply keep up with the fleet battles. So, what was the point to introduce carriers, etc. in to the game, which are specifically designed for fleet battles? When RA warped to station i spend 3 mins warping up there and when i got up there i started locking ppl .. locked 1 guy atleast 200 times then he was dead .. but as more and more ppl died the lag got less .. in the end i could lock a BS approch start shooting and scrambling in under 30 secs .. But yes .. i also got booted out outside station after the fight .. and i had 20 mins left of my skill ! :(( But i enjoyed it .. can't wait for more fleet fight .. didn't even take any damage ! :) So as a final word i would like to say GF ! As smack was minamal ... maybe cuz of the lag ? :D Mess with the best - Die like the rest !

Here's what -V- had to say about drones early on in the war after one of the N-RAEL lagfests that they "won" Linkage Just about every -V- ship in system had drones out that day. Is 'lame' when -V- uses drones too, or just when RA uses them? If you want to have a rule about no drones, both sides ought to adhere to it.
