Granted, it is a wonderful ship with all that lovely ECM, but it's title is Combat Recon, so how about giving it the power grid to let it actually do that?
The Rook gets a bonus for HAM's, and has 5 missile slots, yet does not have the grid to fit 5 HAM's, a single shield extender, and an A/B, let alone a MwD.
The fit below, with perfect skills, uses only 69.4% of CPU, but 100.5% of grid.
Note this has an a/b on it.
Maybe not for the winter release, but how about when the assault frigs get buffed, you could add a bit of grid and take away some CPU?

putting HAMs on a ship that should never be closer than 70km to an enemy is plain dumb.
ECM should never, EVER be encouraged, it should one be nerfed.

Right, and it's optimal for ECM is 53 km with this fit, so working at 70 km is a great idea.
Love working in falloff with ECM where a % chance to miss exists. |

The Rook is one of the last caldari ships i'd be on-board to change. Yeah, it's hard to fit, but we have umpteen other ships that are also hard to fit and suck horribly at their intended role/their role is useless (looking at the 150km+ snipers here). |

So why don't you use that fitting if you like it so much? Here is a tip: Hardwiring - Inherent Implants 'Squire' PG2
Alternatively change out the T2 AB with this one - Y-S8 Hydrocarbon I Afterburners - Really will work just fine.
I think you are looking for a problem where there isn't one. |
