forgive me if this is somewhere else already in teh forums, i can't find a way to search the topics:
i'm pretty new and have been flying around asteroid belts hunting level 1 & 2 pirates and have amassed some of their loot, ie. dog tags and other unique markers.
i know they don't sell for much at regular space stations, where can i take them (or rather, where am i supposed to take them) for a more substantial reward? i'm still trying to learn the sectors and corporations.
any help is apreciated, thanks.

I've found that if you check the region markets, you'll sometimes find places that will buy them for more. I'd reccomend travelling to four or five regions close to where you currently are and find the best place for them. It's a bit time consuming, but you're exploring and it's a bit of a change of pace. Beware that some good deals you find will be in .4 or lower space, which might just be some ganker looking for easy kills... Or maybe not.

For tags from any pirates, go into a Concord Station, more Concord control space. F10 for the map, tab stars, now scroll down until you see concord system and go to one of the place nearest to you. Go to that station to sell your tags.

Concord doesn't buy tags; they buy Overseer's Personal Effects. Tags are for mission offers.

I keep a Small Container in my station that I put all of those tags and such into. As I understand it from time to time an Agent Offer will require certain types. Haven't gotten one yet, but I have quite a collection thus far!

What are the 'logs' for...
..?are they just complex locations ??

That and a few units of Isogen and Noxcium. They're surprisingly valuable for what they are, so read them, then reprocess them.
