Hi, i been hearing the new stats from the new bloodline are incredibly high for perception and int.
but i am wondering hows that gonna help in the long run?
Wouldnt that make learning "learning skills" really hard with low mem?
And how are the stats for the Gallente new bloodline? (heard amarr are the one with crazy percepation)
Whats the rule of thumb for new character attribute beside low cha?

*If* you want min-max your character, and *if* you want to engage mainly in combat (as opposed to, say, mining or trading) then you really want a very high perception, high intelligence and willpower, medium memory, and as low charisma as possible.
The reason is that for the skill trees in which a combat pilot will spend most of his SPs (Spaceship Command, Gunnery, Missiles) perception is the primary attribute and willpower is secondary. You still need intelligence for things like Navigation and Engineering.
The new Amarr and Caldari bloodlines are now considered "uber" :-) You can get higher perception with Amarr, but a better balance of attributes with Caldari.

btw, i can go below the base stats that the bloodline offer right?
Any one got numbers for the Gallente new bloodline? Test server is down :(

They say that the new races have distinct carrer strengths ie. mining, man, research etc... What makes the new races specialised and is it significant? or is it all based of their 'higher' attributes?

I think is because most of the new bloodline have crazy high point on one specific attribute, and pretty low on others

Expect the new bloodlines to be somewhat less appealing for new players than originally conceived.
Enough players complained so that the devs are reducing some of the perceived advantages.

Hey dont get me wrong :) Balance is a good thing. I am not playing the new race because of the uber stats i am playing because well...
<----- is chinese :)
Since i have less than a week into my name (a week max when blood comes up on tuesday) i dont think i mind starting over.
