Ok, so last time I fiddled with a cloaking device you couldn't activate it after jumping through a gate. you had to first undo the gate cloak effect and then activate your cloak. My idea to CCP for improved stealth is to make it so perhaps you could activate a Covert Ops Cloak while still cloaked after jumping through a gate. Would allow to be much more stealthy if trying to get past a gate camp or a blockade. |

People already whine endlessly about cloaking, i don't think we should make the situation even worse.
Even with a bubble, covert ops are pretty much unstoppable. Sometimes with massive fleets and swarms of drones you can rush the position where it briefly decloaks and get lucky. With with the MWD-cloak trick, your chances are minimal. Making it so that you dont even need to briefly uncloak would make them completely untouchable. Way to OP in my opinion.

Yes and let us lock targets while cloaked so we can sneak up on them for a surprise attack (with damage modifiers).

Have you found it too easy to catch a cov ops at gates and want to make it more of a challenge? |

Doing Low Sec PI for over 3 years with 5 alts, I've probably made over 2,000 jumps, conservatively, in Blockade Runners with CovOps. Never, ever been caught.
What are you doing wrong ?

I've been caught in lowsec, if you uncloak a thrasher can point you in less than one second, also ping is important.
