Hi there,
I have now finished my trial period and am playing Eve for real. I would like this game to become my MMO for the next couple of years and am looking for advice.
The skills I have already trained in are listed below, a pretty good range to get me started in my opinion but I am now looking for further advice into what I should be doing next. I am still not really sure what I would like to be doing ingame, I guess a jack-of-all trades! I would like to be able to hold my own at PvP but I would also like to do some low sec mining.
Any advice as to what I should be doing/learning etc would be appreciated.
Current skillset:
Drones lvl5, Drones Interface lvl 2
Engineering Rank lvl 2, Shield Operation lvl 2
Gunnery Rank lvl 3, Small Hybrid turret lvl 2
Industry Rank lvl 1, Mining Rank lvl 3, Refining Rank lvl 3
Leadership Rank lvl 3
Instant Recall lvl 1, Iron Will lvl 4, Learning Rank lvl 4, Spatial Awareness lvl 1
Hull Upgrades 2, Mechanic Rank 1
Science Rank 2
Caldari Cruiser Rank 3, Caldari Frigate Rank 4, Spaceship Command 3

First stop, look at all the Learning skills, they will reduce the time it takes to train others.

Caldari Cruiser - train some missiles skills - look under missiles skills on market or over here in the items database. <---
U need to train the the learning skills that will be a pain in the but for a new starter character. If you want u can do like i did - train basic learning skills up to lvl4 and started on my other skills - electonics/engineering/gunnery. After i had a ship i could relay on and the suporting skills(i wanted to do lvl 3 missions) i've started to train my learning skills up to lvl5 and the advanced learning up to level 4 (except charisma). To reach advanced learning at lvl 4 can take around 2 months - more or less - train first your memory as it's primary and the inteligence as it's secondary - you will see that the remaining 3 basic skills will train faster.
Hope it helps
