Ehia. I've got my beta account yesterday and I already got a big problem. When I try to log into the games, the autolauncher stops itself at "LOGGING IN" view.
It simply doesnt go forward. Stand there and I cannot log in. What could be?
I precise:
1) I've no firewall, antivirus or any other filter programs
2) I'm not behind router
3) I live in Italy and my connection is really good (4mbit) with all peer connections (and other mmorpgs too)
4) I've no trojans, viruses or something else and pc is just formatted.
5) I've the original cd-rom of the game and I've tried to download too. I've installed both and the problem persists.
Pls help me!

same has been happenng to me for the last 12 hours when trying to log onto the normal game server. CCP pleae respond.

ive as well have let the "logging in" screen sit there for over 8 hours (while i slept) and when i woke up the only thing to change was my screen saver..... My other computer as well is having the same problem. ive tried downloading much older version of eve and patching. i tried patching RMR from 3805 to 3807, and then did a full download of the new 3807 client. I WANNA PLAY and this logging in is being quiet a hinderense to that aspect.

Got stuck on gate.
Can't login no more... just seem stuck at "Entering Game..."
Doesn't work to change to alt and login first though they can actually login!

I have the same problem that Endrimor has. Anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

Hey, dunno if this'll help but since they just switched IPs your ISP might have the new one blocked or rather not open. My ISP for example has a lot of ports and IPs closed off and I usually have to request they open a particular one in order to play. As a matter of fact, I'm facing this problem right now since the switch yesterday and my ISP said it should be open and good to go now. (will have to wait until after work to find out though). Sooo, if you've tried everything else, you might wanna give your ISP a call...(have the new IP and Port handy).

Oh dear...
Then you're probably infested by viruses/spyware/adware by now. You know the average time for an unprotected PC to be infected is a matter of minutes now, dont you?

Your not just hiding off line JMclane now are you? :), just kidding of course, sorry to hear of this issue..
It normally takes me about 30 seconds to 1 and a half minutes to get past this stage too, for a while i considered it maybe the client was chugging along trying to get windows to release more virtual memmory for a brief second how ever.. as i have 1.5 gigs of ram. It looks to me like its a serverside issue maybe trying to enter a queue or get a responce on/from the proxy? or some bug in the client.. My own connection is very resonsive also.. 3mbit down, 400kbit up, and it does tend to work excellently with absolutly everything else.
99% of the time, after that 30 seconds - 1:30 mins, it logs in perfectly, and only seems to happen the first time i launch the client that day. subsequent logins.. its almost instantanious
