every one reckons the geddon or maybe scorp are the best tier 1 bs in game i dont like the geddon, no cap not much firring space the only thing the geddon can be used for is ganking and thats a bit crap really any one have fittings or nice tanking setups for the geddon whic can keep the tank going for a while?

The geddon is not the best t1 battleship. The dominix is.
Nevertheless the geddon is a nice battleship. If you are a true amarr, go and get that beast. It is what you are looking for, laser dmg bonus ftw!

Now that depends on the setups! But yes, the domi is a scary thing with TII drones.

I guess it all depends on how you rate different categories.
Geddon is the best fleet DPS ship in the game. Its also the best t1 gank BS. Since RMR its a good NPC ship because you only need 1 armor rep and you can focus on damage.
Scorp is uber at EW..... thats about it.
Domi is one of the kings of close range with a vampire setup. With its awsome drone bonus its also a great option for NPCing. Only downful with this ship is its not good at range.
Don't get a Typhoon. Period.
Tanking a Geddon isn't rocket science, use 1 Large repper, 3 hardeners, and enough cap mods to keep it all running continueusly. If your using a close range pulse setup you can put a Nos in the utility slot to help with cap. Then you stuff all the low slots left with heat sinks.
