IRON was GREAT
IRON IS GREAT
IRON WILL be GREATER
There is a saying in my country that applies well here
THE KING IS DEAD - - - - LONG LIVE THE KING
I believe the combination of DARKO and Einstein will prove to all in eve to be reveared and feared. Congratulations to both of you.
I also believe that Buddrow and Destable are handing over an alliance that they founded, cared for and nutured extremely well for a very long time. The time for change however was upon them and i cannot think of 2 people and corps better positioned and allied to head up the new management of IRON.
May IRON contine to grow in military strength - prosper in finacial stablitiy - and contine its domination with its brothers G - of the norhtern territories.
Good luck to all ))

And within 24 hours there are multiple reports of IRON shooting neutrals in Pure Blind.
Not the least of which was a RP thing with the Sisters/Mordu's ... are IRON on NBSI rules now?

The story going around was a noob corp alt jumped in, got popped, as usual, and then Mordu's freaked out. And as for IRON shooting other neutrals, chances are they fired first or shot at friendly resident corps.
Anyhoo, this should be fun to see how much the alliance changes. Ah, and to counter Kryztal's post, don't need the luck but thanks anyways.. please don't try and start somethign here :-)

IRON has, at it's core, pretty much ALWAYS had an nbsi policy. Think about all of the frig fleets that went south to kill anything and everything we didn't recognize.
Deklein itself is also about as nbsi as you can get.
That said, IRON has usually been a bit nicer to neutrals closer to home but not in our region. Not particularly because of any driving philosopy or belief of free space, neutral love, or in-game morality but because it's often convenient for us to do so.

Multiple reports?
If I am running a gate gamp and neutral sits on gate without trying to either jump or join gang...its a roll of the dice with me. We've shot alot of neutrals the past week, mainly because they have NAPs or agreements with our enemies, and in somecases because of their membership in mercenary corps we've already had problems with.
The point is, dont take a few actions as change in policy. Neutrals get alot of leeway from us...a WHOLE lot. Take ISS employing MC pilots (set to red with IRON/G at the time) to deploy their new outpost in G space...no shots fired.
IRON isnt evil...I AM!
Now, back on topic...
IRON will be strong, IRON will continue to be strong. Buddrow hasnt left the game, he just doesnt have time to run the allaince 23/7. You will see him plenty nonetheless. Destable is obviously still around, and VNTR is still lending support to IRON, and most likely will continue to do so for a nice looong time.
/steps off soap box.

Hello,
Can you confirm that G practically ordered Buddrow to be removed from Power or Iron would be distanced from G, or even set to KOS as my intelligence indicates.
Anyone?

Absolut and utter nonsens. We don't dictate IRON. -G- will also not switch it's neutral policy for an nbsi policy.

You can always talk to me on TS if you want to hear the actual truth about that. No need to post that under an alt here.
We would never betray our friends. Never.
G was built aware of history. We dont forget it and we wont repeat failures that other alliances did in the past. --------------------------------
