I purchased my first Clone two days ago, and now I can`t find it! What did I do wrong?I looked under Assets and scanned my Transactions log, but its nowhere to be found. Come back, Clone-ee, come back! Er, I seem to recall something about assigning your Clone to any station of ones choice -naturally, I neglected to do that.

when you buy a clone it replaces the one you had... A clone is nothing more than a savegame for your skillpoints. Go into a station with cloning facility and open the clone window. I'tll state the maximum SP amount your current clone can hold and where it's stationed (that's where you'll jump to when your pod is destroyed). Make sure you have a high enough clone to last you a while and also make sure the clone station should be an obvious one, your homebase or at least one where you have some ships... AND a cloning station, so you can make a new one.

The information for your clone (what class and the amount of skill points it can hold) show up in the first tab on your character sheet.

Thanks for your help folks. I`m just in the free trial stage now, but the potential in this gameworld seems almost limitless. I`ll be staying, bien sur! EVE also has something else I really like -a challengeing learning curve. I`ll be shopping for a corp to apply to soon -do you have any suggestions on a good source of unbiased corp info that will help the newcomer make an informed choice?
Thanks again,

That's very difficult as it has to do with your ideas and goals and theirs, also timezone, amount profesionalism (or lack thereof) differs per person.
In general, take your time. getting into a corp quick and leavign that 3 days later cause it sucks, has only 3 members or whatever reason, and doing that 3 times doesn't help your rap sheet much. Join the EVE University channel ingame, they can help you with many questions you will have, perhaps even this one.
