Has anyone else run into an issue after today's expansion where the audio for wormholes is extremely low ? Hole fire and the background noise. |

It sounds like that are using the same audio files but the volume is turned down to 1.
I have to crank my world and master audio level to hear them at all. However, then my ship noises are way too loud.
It's either a bug, or CCP wants to get rid of sound pickets and replace them with visual pickets? Too bad I can't use a visual picket when I'm scanning for sigs since I need to use the solar system map view 
I don't like the idea of adjusting my audio levels after I enter a system and before I leave.

Yea, Ship sounds are too loud, environmental sounds are too quiet. Seems like that happened in the last expansion too. |

Go ahead and tell your wormhole CSM to bring it up in every single CSM meeting till it gets fixed. We plan on addressing this issue in about a year with our next expansion."

Most of the time I can't hear the wh sound at all. But let someone active a prop mod and my speakers rattle from the noise. I know violence isn't the answer. I got it wrong on purpose. |

If I zoom all the way in I can once again hear the relaxing warble of the holes, as well as the boom that accompanies the activations, although they're both still extremely quiet. Whereas, before the patch, I could hear nothing aside from the shrinkage effect. This is after an obligatory cache clearing, of course.
Still somewhat curious if this bug presented its self on the test server before implementation on Tranquility. |

I've posted in the issues thread - but I'm still not hearing any activation sounds if I am observing a wh. It makes the sound when I jump through, but no detectable sound when someone else jumps through (and this is with world sounds at 70 - I had that a 40 prior to the patch and could hear everything I needed to). It would be nice to Lower the Engine Sounds As they are way to op or give us a option in the audio Settings screen to turn of engine and gate sounds. Hate playing with Sounds Off as it lowers Game content but Its just to loud as u then can not hear Fc's calls on Comms over them |

Until there is a fix for the wh audio picket, this is what works for me...
Place cloaky scout some distance from the wh (I like 20km). Then zoom camera out and rotate around until the wh is between you and the scout. Then zoom back in until camera is right on the wh. You can hear the sound just like you would when jumping. And it is plenty loud. Its a pain to have to do it, but it does at least work. I know violence isn't the answer. I got it wrong on purpose. |

They actually do the "shrinking" sound when they are in secondary mass state and someone initiates warp to such a wh. |
