This doesn't excuse the "downtime" of course, but nor does it mean people can start prattling on about how CCP owes them everything under the sun.

no.. not just me.. plenty of corpians stuck right now. I am stuck between the station and undocking in Yulai right now.. Not sure if I will even have a ship by the time it finally finishes doing what it's doing.. Not sure if I will have a processers when this is done.. My computer is running so S-L-O-W right now trying to enter space..

Yup.. Just had to terminate the game.. It's Mem Usage was 80,000 k

Yulai seems stuffed again. Many players stuck on jumps in and out - yes I am one of them 
I'm going to start charging extra for delivering loot to highway systems!

Finally... It took 5 training drones to blow my alts velator up.
Time to sleep anyway, I hope I'm unstuck when I wake up (a few hours before the downtime).

Stuck in charater loading phase just sit thier black screen and all.. Ya know im becoming deallusioned with MMOPRG out of europe the last one out of france did the same thing. Is in trying to intergrate to much into one server or lack of power or to many viruses or not enough database downtime. Or is it a ****ed of programer that planted a bug that goes off everyday. Heck its got to be something

Well to be fair I offer to deliver if the order is over 1 mill. Normally not a problem as it usually happens in the morning/afternoon (UK time). I'm going to stop doing it at peak times from now on as it's obvious anyone going to one of the busy highway systems stands a good chance of getting stuck. Given the GM's queue of stuck petitions that'll be my char stuck until downtime tomorrow I guess 
This needs sorting as it is quite obviously a server-side bug of major proportions.....
Edit - heh after 17 minutes of a black screen I now have the "entering space" bollox. This is some system eh? Only 17 minutes to begin to register a transition between SOL servers Personally I reckon SOL = sh*t outta luck

Jumping into Hror takes 4-5 minutes. Jumping out takes the same. If you'd coming to Heimatar via Metropolis, I'd advise setting a waypoint to Helgatild followed by anything in Heimatar 2nd. That's the backdoor in.

Probably not, mine was using 640,000k earlier, and it started to get laggy then.
It's fine up to about 500,000k (On my computer anyways, I have 1 GB of ram)
All the angels and the puny men of god looked away...

GMs have now "unstuck" me - thanks for the prompt response guys.
Moral of story I think is avoid all highway systems at peak times as you stand a good chance of getting stuck.

Avoid? We're talking 20-30 jumps around the highways at points.
How did you get a response by the way?
I have needed to be unstuck from Yulai for hours now.... I have my Alts now petitioning too.

I petitioned - simple as that. Maybe I was one of the first to be stuck in Yulai? Dunno.
Oh and yes - avoid the highway systems at peak times. you can probably do 20-30 jumps faster than waiting to be "unstuck". Does it suck? Undoubtably, but these days if you go into a highway system at peak GMT hours then you stand a good chance of not coming back out.

GM's still haven't unstuck me and I was very polite and professional in my petition.
I bet they wont unstuck me.. Know why? Because the last station I was in was in Yulai.. So they can't move me to the last station like they normally do..
So i'm prolly on the back burner tell downtime.

Got a secret for ya...
In my petitions I always keep it simple and sweet. In yesterdays instance I was stuck in Scolluzer and I petitioned this...
Stuck in Space at Scolluzer enroute to Bourynes.
Thats it...
When I was finally unstuck I was in Bourynes 10 jumps from where I was stuck (which is fair because I could of gotten there 10 times in the time it took to get me unstuck)

I was enroute to Yulai and requested to be moved there. The GM who dealt with it moved me to Tanoo instead as Yulai was bolloxed (thank god). I assume you did ask to be moved somewhere? I suspect if you don't then they have to try to work out where you were going and where they can best put you.
Just speculating really.

Please bare with me for a mo.
Before 5 days, there was some guy which is identified as a TTI clone (bored TTI members changed from minning machines to the Dark side with an alt) what was it.. Bunny's of the Red Scull or something? Cant remember.. well this guy was ranting up and down 2 days REMOVE THE HIGHWAYS.. REMOVE THE HIGHWAYS! And some other forum-star which is ussualy boring everyone with some long and useless blaber (which didnt sign the "Bring back the Scope" pettition..all by accident) was doing the same from another line of the battlefield..of the EVE forum!
Anyways, it seems that Highways became really sucky 1 or 2 days after that all by chance!
Now..suspicius me..i pictured some game developing company bowing again to the great demands of their favorite corp. (names removed, we all know who he/they is/are).. and I wondered.. after the Scope..now this!!
And how are they going to deliver to us the customers this unexpected change? Through lag?..So the damn things have to go for the sake of us all?!
Well those game developer guys never stop to amaze me!!!
Can I pettition that instead of my 12.95$ going to the game company to reroute them to some gentlemens acount somewhere to Iceland? (that guy, the head of the known uber corp) Why bother with this game company anymore.. since they dont run this game!?
