hi all all the screens in eve have white boxes over them
im running a p4 2.6GHz laptop
with 512 ram
an ati radeon igp 345m and it works with all the current games out there splintercell freelancer vicecity eq and so if any one could help thanks

has anyone found a fix for this? i have a laptop with an ati radeon igp 320 video card. It has the same problem. white boxes on half of every window.

I looked on the ATI site and did not find a listing for the IGP 320 or 345 in the Mobile Radeon listings. Does it have support for DirectX 9? I know some mobile graphic solutions are limited in their abilities. How old are they?
Actually just found it, make sure you have the latest drivers from you notebook manufacturer and check the release notes or a readme for it. See if they list the version of DirectX with which it is compatible. Sorry that I couldn't be of much more help.

DX 9 works fine with all my other game splintercell vicecity frelancer and all the latest

Apple2gs, are any of your other games dirextx9 only? EVE uses specific dx9 features that did not exist in dx8. Many other games use only a dx8 supset of features in dx9 and therefore does not induce any dx9 related bugs.

I know Splinter Cell and Vice City don't use DX9 - not sure on Freelancer but, seeing as it only requires a 16 meg card, I would guess it is also DX 8.1.

Mine is a brand new compaq presario. I have another pc which has an ati radeon 8500dv video card and i know that one is not rated or directx 9 but eve works great on that card.

my card is 100% dx 9 compateble iv checked all
iv did the dxdiag and it says my card is compatible with it
