Hi, I'm looking for some help.
I'm behind a proxy server at uni and can't play eve here . I have been using Your-Freedom combined with Proxycap successfully to bypass it, however this doesn't seem to be working anymore.
Does anyone have any suggestions program wise that I could use to bypass the proxy again? Any programs which mean i have to setup something on another PC to tunnel to aren't possible, so it would have to be something like yourfreedom where you tunnel to a server somewhere.
Thanks.

Go to a school which doesn't have silly restrictions in place?

Yes, because I can quite easily stop going to a certain university and start another one half way through the second term of my first year even though I've already paid over ú1700 in fees.
Is there anyone with anything useful to say?

Get on the good side of the system admin and plead with him to let your computer through.
Or you can always have sex with the teachers.
A wild idea that sprung into my head would be to use the google free proxy... http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/h/4807

I found the following little gem of a page that descries more or less how to do this. This page is targetted for World of Warcraft, but since both that game and Eve use TCP connections, this does work with Eve.

When the connection is drilled out thru the proxy, it looks exactly like a standard https: session.

Unfortunately I don't have a machine outsie of the system that I can tunnel to, which is why Your-Freedom was good since you used their servers.
Thanks for the help though

Low bandwidth option appears to be free, might be ok for EVE? Or you can subscribe for high bandwidth. --------------------------------------------------

Was that since the Hardware upgrade? because the IP Address for TQ has changed from 157.157.139.10 to 87.237.38.200.
