Edited by: Sophise Seksi on 25/02/2006 09:57:46 I have a couple of goals... I want to fly a Exequror and a Iteron Mark IV in the not too distant future, and be able to equip T2 modules. Later on, I want to fly a Covetor with T2 modules.
I've done my best at putting together a skill queue to reach these goals. My aim is to use T1 modules as little as possible, as the good 'named' ones appear to be quite expensive compared to T2 modules.
If some of you older players wouldn't mind, could you please take a look and tell me what you think? Is there anything I should add, take away, or move?
The list is too long to post here, so I'll link it.
You might have noticed, but I put a large emphasis on speed and agility... those mining barges and industrials are so slow!

They're getting there, not too much longer. I left them out to shorten the list a little.

I'm impressed. At least you have a plan. Most folks at your level (I'm assuming that you're relatively new) don't have nearly that.
The only thing I would suggest is that you train High Speed Maneuvering I earlier than you plan, maybe immediately after or before you can fly cruisers. If you want speed, MWDs are the way to go and HSMI is the only way you're going to get it. You can achieve speed with Afterburners, but MWDs are the best for speed, especially in Cruisers and Frigates.

I suggest you train up Engineering and Electronics skills to a higher level, otherwise you`ll run into difficulties outfitting your ships later..

About where do you think should I move them in that queue?
I get Engineering and Electronics 2 fairly early... I somehow skipped Engineering 3 and went right to 4 near the bottom.

Is there any specific item you want electronics upgrades for?
Electronics is more important than this skill.
Also, if you want to use an ab / mwd you need cap. I cant see the cap skills. (Energy systems operation and energy management) - two of the most important skills around. Get them to level 3 asap!
From a practical point of view, when you go to work / bed you may need a long skill training so you dont lose out on training time. It's not always practical to train short skills one after the other for long periods of time.

hey Sophise, I'm a newbie aswell but this I have learned...Engineering IV is a must. Seems the ships I fly have low Powergrid and every item from weapons to modules use power. The MAPC(sp?) is likely the most important component to my Kessie now since I can't equip all 4 launchers and the other modules I deem a must have. Vets please correct me, but I think Electronics is only good for EW and other PvP applications with little demand for PvE. I also just got Social III and Connections I and I haven't noticed any new Agents available to me.

Deja, about Electronics Upgrades, I misread the discription. I was wanting to boost my CPU, which is what Electronics is for.

Most of the ships I have outfitted run out of CPU long before the power grid is used up. Getting the CPU up is crucial if you want any good mods and weapons since the best ones generally use a fair amount.
In the beginning, I was told electronics, engineering, navigation, weapons and ships in that order. Although I don't really think the first 3 need be in any particular order. Both electronics and engineering dictate how much you can load a ship, navigation dictates speed and agility and ships are not much use if you still don't have the skills to arm them. I did some navigation skills first to get the speed and agility for my first frig. But I'm just a rebel anyway Having said that, Everyone has their preferred ways of doing things.
Kudos to you for taking the time to think it through, most people work it out as they go along cos they just want to play the game.
