I did the above mission last night and on the last stage, after killing the general, was curious as to where the accel. gate that was there went.
So tried to use it but said I needed a paladium tag.
I looted the cans on that stage and destroyed all the buildings, but no tag.
Is the tag meant to be in the mission, and if so where?

the tag will not be in the mission, but you can buy one in market. i have loads spare if you contact me in game i will give you one. im in lonetrek.

The key may not be in any of the cans (and it usually is not there). You can buy it, but when you open the gate, the key is destroyed, so, if you warp out, you'll need another key to open that gate again.
The rats behind that gate are very hard, many cruisers with support and a battleship. Most likely, you'll die there.

Thanks for the info peeps.
I'm wondering if the risk is worth it. Are the bounties and loot nice enough?

the bounties are what you are used to in lv3 apart from the bs witch can be anywhere from 250k to 1mil+ be warned though that they will all agro on entry and there is a lot of them, pluss sentry guns.

oh and the tag is not destroyed when you jump through. so you can reuse it.

Well, I think I'm wrong with the tag. I confused it with complex keys :)

a decently fited battleship with low skills can handle it, bring a friend or two and give it a try :)
it's not that hard, and it can be lots of fun

I recently did a lvl 3 Blockade mission and found 2 Gurristas Palladium tags in the loot. I faced only demolishers (frigs) and annihilators (cruisers) so I assume both of them came from the cruisers.
Can anyone else confirm specific missions or rats that drop these items?

Nope
they drop at random :)
