why do people continue on making Auctions with a reserve higher then the starting bid, if you are also irritated by this, post.
starting bid: 300 mil isk 
reserve: 150000 mil isk
buyout: 200000 mil isk
max increment: 1 isk
ehhh

This si the starting bid, but i won't sell for under my reserve price.
They claim it's because of a *i reserve the right not to sell*
It's total crap tbh, but game a forum rules let them do it, such as scammers and so on.

yes.. but there is no point what so ever, atleas scammers get stuff done, this is just a waste of time

the whole point of the starting bid being lower then the reserve is to make people think "wow thats cheep for the item, i think i will bid" and hence you get more people bidding on your item. but for this to really work you need to keep your reserve HIDDEN.

Ever been to a real auction? How about Ebay?
You understand the concept of a reserve, I am sure. The problem is that the reserve price is not binding on this site. But, it's tradition, so relax and let it slide.
If you don't like it, don't bid on it. You'll save yourself a lot of heartache not worrying about it.
