Regardless of what happened, it was fun, our alliance risked everything to gain control of our wormhole and we pushed hard enough to break through them. Viscis did amazing for us and I'm damn glad to have a guy like him, he's a saint. 8)
I have big respect for Jay and the Disavowed alliance. They are great people, it was fun.
In any case we'll be back. ;)
Ordinarily I stay out of these squabbles but after reading this post, I felt I had to say something.
First, you say you risked everything? That's funny because I seem to remember watching your mates SD a handful of Caps within hours of your towers going into reinforcement. Squeezing your multiple Revs and the like full of shiny T3's before vaporizing them by your own hand just so they don't appear on your KB is just sad man, just sad :'(
Second, you've really convinced yourself that you took control of your WH and pushed hard enough to break through? Interesting. I seem to recall burning everything left of yours to the ground last night after Disavowed left you to take a stand on your own. Yep. It's all gone and you didn't even fire another shot after you were left to ponder what to do next. Sure, we had some losses but it's interesting that in your eyes, taking control includes having hostiles burn your stuff to the ground when you're left to fend for yourselves.
Finally, my favorite...Damn glad to have a guy like Viscis in your Aliance? This may be the most amusing thing you've stated considering the rage he unleashed when he was invited to our comms the night you and your mates felt compelled to destroy tens of billions of your own stuff. Was this rage directed towards RCC? Nope. Viscis railed against YOU and your entire alliance then blamed it all on everyone but himself. As soon as we get the 40 minutes of nastiness edited down to its juiciest and most revealing bits then post for all to hear, more tears; real tears will be spilled.
Oh yeah, Daktak and RCC is terrible. |

I'll throw you some nice quotes from that chat actually (insert more swearing):
"Valleriani sucks, hes afk all the time" "My alliance sucks we have no members who want to come online and defend" "I stole everytihng anyway" "I moved my stuff out ages ago, dont really care" "Not a single person is coming to defend" "I don't blame you guys, I blame my own guys" "I self-d my rev cos I'm leaving"
I find it most amusing how the guys who troll almost 24/7 can't see what happened here. |

I don't hold anything against Viscis about the comms. At the time on Saturday we didn't have a lot online, it seemed like we were going to lose no matter what. I can understand being frustrated about the situation in our wormhole. Regardless though, we pulled together, and we did well on Sunday. We entered the capital fight not expecting to win at all to attempt to gain the upper hand, and we had a ton of fun doing so. In the end, Viscis did good.
One important ship was self-d, but I doubt we had anyone else to fly that one out anyways.
Feel free to edit or do whatever mate, isn't my free time 8) It's not going to affect anything with us at all, no one personally cares. He already let us and the alliance know about it afterwards. |

They were out to do one thing and that thing was accomplished.

Jay mentioned the initial cap fight, but without much details as he was not there. So here's a report of that engagement.
Our fleets met at the edge of the POS bubble, with several mobile bubbles being deployed already around. At first RCC only took their T3's inside the bubble, but soon after both their Bhaalgorns and Archon followed. Our master-baiter Bhaal was the first to leave POS shields, got primaried and died soon after, but we had our caps outside already. We took down both their Bhaals instantly, as apparently their Archon didn't even triage, despite being in a bubble and unable to do anything else. Somewhere at this point two RCC Moroses warped in and began to apply DPS at one of our dreads. He was taken down to hull, but as our Archon pilot burned to him, he reffited with hull modules. At this point, his Moros was hull tanking their two Moroses like a boss. RCC's Archon went down in an instant, and all was left to do was to mop up remaining two RCC dreads and T3's.
After they died (dreads) or run away (some of T3's) we killed the remaining bubbles and proceeded to warp to their staging POS to reinforce it. With the hole control regained the rest of the events Jay described took place.
Result. RCC lost over 18bil in this fight, with only ~1.5 bil Bhaal they were able to take down.
A small edit: We only had 2 Moroses out on the field. The third one logged in as soon as the fight started, but since he was in the centre of the POS the fight was over before he burned of out shields. |

They may have won the war but in reality, when the fight went down they got pub stomped by so called "farmers".

And one more thing. This was actually the first proper battle you fought us. Before that you just reinforced our towers taking advantage of timezone difference with you being mostly US and us EU. |

Look in the mirror chick. What does this say about you? If you "won" the battle after we welped our 18Bil fleet, and you want to stand proud and pound your chest, then answer me this; why the hell would you evacuate everything anyways and destroy who knows how much in the process???? You could be sitting all cozy in your POS tonight but instead you're docked up in a station in K-Space.
Your argument has no point or validity. We set out to evict you at all costs. We won. The End.

My point exactly, but it was a pyrrhic victory for the reds not you, you actually lost the objective, they won it (removing you from wh space) albeit at an excessive cost, the very definition of "pyrrhic victory" which as said they achieved and not you.

Corrections:
- This thread was started by some random who is attached to Disavowed, so input is there.
- Daktak had one member ask if people wanted to get in on some kills, since VL had "contracted" Disavowed to help them, which took it out of the Alliance V. Alliance situation. Disavowed, who love to be in the middle of drama, obliged. Obstergo doesn't have any ancient history with VL and when asked if we'd be interested in the Operation/Eviction of VL, we were told it was an "old grudge match" and the term "farmers" was never mentioned.
- You can make up as much bull **** as you want to smear, but at the end, you are some third party trash stirring **** up because you want to be relevant. I suspect Max just attracts your sort of kind to his fold.
- VL has said good fight, we have said good fight. Leave it alone. We lost ships (We already said we were terrible), but the objective of RCC was not to win every battle, it was to EVICT Void-Legion from their wormhole. That happened. Operation was successful, regardless of losses. You can continue to nitpick and whine about "blobbing", "batphoning", "farmers", or whatever else, but at the end of the day, we set out to do something, we did it, deal with it.

This here is the whole point. You can skirt around it and fling mud at me or anyone else involved if you like. You can even dismiss it as attention seeking or smears if you canGÇÖt handle the alternatives.
I got involved because this was your intention and the end result was that VL had the choice. Their choice made your op a GÇÿsuccessGÇÖ. Thing is, I was privy to a call for help and your man did use the term GÇÿfarmersGÇÖ, so letGÇÖs not pretend it never happened. DoesnGÇÖt really matter to me how far removed Obstergo were from that, specifically. www.blackstarprivateers.co.uk-á
