Question, why do you have both a starting bid AND a reserve?
I have seen this on many many auctions and cant really see the point, I would set a reserve and have no starting bid as this would generate some early shame bids to draws some peoples attention to the thread (as well as running upp the number of posts).
For a short auction I would set a starting bid at my reserve and not have a reserve as this starts the auction at the minimum amount I want to get out.
As for the post, its not spam, its a friendly bump :)

It's actually quite simple. Reserves are put in to not obligate the seller to sell below a certain amount. However if the auction doesn't reach reserve he might still decide to sell. But the point is, below the reserve, he doesn't have to and can decide himself wether to sell or not. Above reserve he'll definately sell.

Yes I understand that but why have both a reserve and a starting bid?
If you enter a stating bid that can just as well be the reserve and if you have a reserve why not let people have fun and bid 200isk for somthing that everyone know will go for 2-3 bil, the reserve is still there meening the seller can choose not to sell if it does not meet that.
Its not the issue of having one or the other, its the issue of having both at the same time.
Hmm I better stop asking on this forum or I may get warned for being off topic... but the thread got another friendly bump :)
