I allways stay away from the forum a couple of days after a patch. The "We pay for this?"/"Rollback!"/"I can't find my behind with both hands" threads tends to make me wanna go out on a killing sprea and/or give me a haemorrhage.

Think this needs a bump.
Maybe all the people spamming whines about how the patching has gone could read the original post of this thread?
Thanks

Yeah I have the same problem, only for me its all the fanatical brown nosing fanbois that I want to hunt down and kill. Which seems to be about 98% of everyone who uses this forum. Wipe your noses people..they are a little brown.

Killing sprees are good, for stress relief
But seriously, people really should set a really long skill training for patches.

Don't confuse pragmatism for idealism.
Lots of people on these forums have played MMORPGs for a long time, many different ones for many years. We know that patching is a difficult issue for ALL games.
Every single online game I've ever played has had troubles on patch day. Delays, bugs, server issues, rollbacks, you name it. I atually think that CCP handle these issues better than anyone else - they communicate fast and they give us details, it's good.
Problems are unavoidable sometimes, if people can't see that then they're blind or stupid. What matters is that problems are resolved fast and communication is good and in my view CCP do that admirably.

We actually like the game we play and understand that there will be some minor problems on patch days, how deeply uncool of us.

"We pay for this?" "Rollback!" "I can't find my behind with both hands"
Some days I even scare myself.
