R&D question

Cosimo Fat	Posted - 2006.02.26 13:15:00 - [1] ive read the faq on R&D agents but i am still unsure about a couple of things. as an amarrian, i chose to go with the viziam corp, i started to do level one missions with a manufacturing agent. ive only done a coupel but i do not see viziam in my standings tab yet. shoud i be doing level 1-2 R&D agent missions and then move up to level 3 when i am able? will i even get to R&D agents by doing a bunch of missions for viziam agents? am i gimping myself by going with viziam in the first place? thanks for any info on this i can get...
GC13	Posted - 2006.02.26 16:52:00 - [2] Well that depends. Does Viziam have R&D agents (Agents tab people. Show Info the corp, and go to the Agents tab.)? Most corps don't. Anyway, try logging off and logging back in and seeing if a standing entry for them shows up. That happens to me sometimes when I start work with a corp. --- New to Eve? That happens to me sometimes when I start work with a corp. ill try relogging. viziam is one of only two amarrian corps to have research agents. they only go up to level 3 while the other goes up to 4 i found out. should i train up with r&d guys or use the manufacturing guy?
GC13	Posted - 2006.02.26 17:22:00 - [4] Since the R&D agents only look at your corp standing, and the other agents are the only way to get that standing, I'd say do missions until you can get a good R&D agent.
