Well considering your probably one of the closest players to the server... i'd be tempted to say its not an isp problem do a traceroute to the server see where the bottleneck is. can't rember the TQ ip off hand though anyone else?

I'm not at my PC, so can't check the IP address, but you can find it by starting the Eve client without and Internet connection. It will tell you the IP address then.

Tracert on 87.237.38.10 request appears to be timing out at 195.50.91.98 that is 12 hops in ( seems rather a lot of hops for one part of London to another but I ain't technical ).
No-one else is complaining so I assume it to be a localised issue at my end only started about an hour ago.
Time for a long skill training and some TV I reckon till it goes away.

It could well be a local routing issue. That IP hop belongs to these guys, who operate in the London area.

Yeah, the lag monster is obviously not yet dead. Seems like it has plenty of life in it yet

I'm on SBC ADSL in central Ohio, and the only lag i'm seeing is framerate chugging on account of all the loot cans from these rats which refuse to leave me alone. can't even pick them up before the next flight spawns sometimes :(

Central Europe here and lag is unberable. In system with noone in it except me. It takes from 40 to 60 seconds for ship and modules to react to orders.
I must say that I am

Don't worry about that, it's quite normal for some hops to timeout on a route. A lot of routers have ICMP disabled.

I have to say it's clearing up a bit. I'm still happy.

For me by the time it is 40 - 60 seconds as well.
I'll log till Monday hopefully they'll have sorted their local issues by then.

I was never lag-free, even after new tranquility, but today is something special.
Worst lagfest ever. Worse than in the middle of 300 vs 300 fleet battle. Darn thing is absolutely unplayable today.
BTW. all the time I was writing this post my intie is orbiting a small gurista frig, trying to kill it... still orbiting...
