Before i start forgive my spelling and the type-o's.
A very need feature in eve is a display showing standing in local.
What i mean is you have your online/offline light we should have a second light displaying red = negtive standings blue = positive standings, an unlit light = neutral standings.
Now before anyone yells about server load lok at the fact that when folks in low sec and even in empire check the standings of people in local, think about how many wars rage in empire everyday, think about how many people are looking at your bio everytime you enter local, it is a lot.
It should not generate to much load on the servers to pull that little bit of data out and display a light, i am not asking for it to show the exact standing just if it is positive or negtive or neutral.
Come on folks lets get together and show how many folks would love this feature, it is very much needed and over due.

Make it only work in 0.0 then, I really hate joining a local with 20 people and having to show info all of them. Getting pretty fast though, been scouting with intys for ages.

I agree with the fact it shouldn't be used to highlight enemies - it's already bad enough.
An AFK colour would still be nice though.
