I suppose the Matari news networks are on top of things.
It would have been nice to eleminate this clear threat to the security of the Amarr Empire.
It would also have been nice to eleminate the terrorist Chimera that made an appearance to defend the terrorist training facility.
Hell, I would have been satisfied with bringing down Maggot's stout Dominix.
Instead, the CVA had to settle for a decisive tactical victory over the terrorist's defensive fleet on the XHQ-7V gate.
I'm off for my evening prayers and then some sack time. It's been a very busy day...

After all, they've been attacking Amarrian educational facilities for years.

Special Report By Dana Priest - Amarr News Network
Eastern Providence has become the training ground for the next generation of "professionalized" terrorists, according to a report released yesterday by the Amarr Intelligence Council, the leading Amarrian loyalist think tank.
Eastern Providence provides terrorists with "a training ground, a recruitment ground, the opportunity for enhancing technical skills," said Harzid Kador, the Amarr intelligence officer responsible for trans-empire threats. "There is even, under the best scenario, over time, the likelihood that some of the terrorists who are not killed there will, in a sense, go home, wherever home is, and will therefore disperse to various other regions." Kador's comments came during a rare briefing by the council on its new report on long-term universal trends. It took a year to produce and includes the analysis of 1,000 Amarrian experts. Within the 119-page report is an evaluation of Eastern Providence's new role as a breeding ground for Minmatar terrorists.
Senior Amarr official have frequently described the unofficial Amarr/Minmatar war as an integral part of Amarrian efforts to combat terrorism. But the council's report suggests the conflict has also helped terrorists by creating a haven for them in the chaos of war.
"At the moment," Harzid Kador said, Eastern Providence "is a magnet for terrorist activity."
-----------------------------------------------
Do not pretend it was an innocent educational facility Maggot. We all know better.
Your assault, unsuccessful as it was did disrupt our attack on this heinous facility but rest assured your training camp will be razed next time!
There is no hidey hole for terrorists...

NKB Military Position, Providence Border Zone
Karn floats in his pod within his rifter class frigate. It's his ship of choice for intelligence and reconnaissance missions, one he has known intimately since his first days out of Pator Tech.
A handful of the Beh'Hude hang about him, their ships slowing rocking in the faint light from the systems single lonely sun. An eclectic mix of ships, no discernable pattern to class, neither in terms of race or size. What they have in common is there singular purpose - war.
They are all neuro-linked, each pilot at one with his ship, and that ship linked in direct transmission to its fellow gang members.
There they hung one and all, each pod bound, their bodies in stasis. But in their minds eye they weren't there at all ...
***
They stood on a windswept beach. Enormous waves rolled in sending spray and the deafening vibration of thousands of tons of crashing water upon them. A small group, male and female mixed, each toned and poised, each watching Karn intently.
He looked toward the sea and as the spray beat upon his face he let out a cry, an undulation of joy, and of pain, and the sense of living truth.
As his corp mates took up the cry he fell to his knees, overcome as if with some ecstatic vision. Then he stood, turned, and spoke, eyes flashing a fire hidden deep within.
And so it begins my brothers, my sisters ...

I will be lobbying CONCORD immediately as a response to this attack. I would like assure those parents who are considering sending their loved ones to this facility that Ushra'khan has the facility to defend this installation should CVA strike again. Education of our people in our history, our beliefs, and practical skills is essential in these troubling times. This facility offers an alternative to the bland diet our youths will be fed elsewhere.

Whom are you trying to fool? The other installations in Providence are probably scientific and used for research about diseases?

The attacked station was unarmed until CVA commited the attack. this certainly speaks for itself.
Your invasion into our legally claimed space (it was unclaimed before) in order to attack the weakest platform you could find, with the highest likehood of hitting civillians there speaks for itself too.
Aparrantly it was strategically correct and needed to place the civillian installation close by our pilots bases.

a slave transport pilot is a military target.
Whatever you may respond, the number of people you still kidnap from their home planets in order to enslave them is something that cannot be weighted out by some collateral damage done by u'k possibly.

COMMANDER SYKOSYS LOG 060226
Comm screen is lighting up like a christmas tree with chatter in alliance comms. Seems there is an attack taking place on our educational facility in providence.
Time to fire up the good ol bellicose. Yes we will not lose this battle if I had anything to say about it.
The fleet met up and targets were given. Priority was most important and timing was key. The enemy was ready however as were we. Yet another good day to die I commented to myself.
The order was given jump and engage! I jumped in, the rush of battle flowing through my veins. What the?? My systems began to not respond! Cmon baby, targetting systems won't lock, propulsion systems seem to unresponsive as well. And in a what seemed like an eternity my ship finnaly came under control. Targets locked the battle ensued. It seemed though that I was not the only one with ship issues.
Damn 2 amarr BS and one Raven Hammering me. I will not leave the engagement. Interdicter bubble has been launched I herd over the comms. Well I sure wasn't leaving now. To death and glory. My bellicose was down and I was forced to warp away in my pod.
As my pod began to warp out I was shaking my fist at the remaing amarrian fleet. Another day for vengence. . .another day.

If you shouldn't have noticed CVA controlled space is directly adjacent to the Empire. If the CVA would hold space in the Great Wildlands you might have a point but as it stands you don't. It is apparent that you moved into Providence to stage attacks on Imperial property and corporations. Trying to put a veil of 'civilian installations' over it will not fool anyone.

Right... the terrorist scum who expressly consider all Amarran Shipping to be 'military targets' and make it their buisness to kill as many amarran civilians as they can (as well as anyone even remotely affilitated with Amarr when they get the chance, as they seem to consider any pod pilot with positive Amarran standings as a military target)
I would suggest that If the U'K wishes to have some sort of youth academy, that it would be an intelligent decision to place that academy as far away from a warzone as humanely possible.
The only murder here is from the U'K who knowingly placed their 'students' in a position where they could only be considered a military target.

It seems to me as though the U'K has set up this so-called educational facility in Providence with the express purpose of providing human shields for their nefarious activities.
Despicable.

With my knowledge of Minmatar methodologies, of course it would.

Masc places a call to one of her contacts in the Caldari Navy training command over in Lonetrek region.
Masc Suiza. "Hey, Denton its Masc. Hows things you walking billiard ball? "
Denton. "Hey girl! hey you leave my hair out of this...doh! walked into that one, but don't you worry doc says it will grow back any day now....So what can I do you for?"
M.S. "Hear about that U'K base getting attacked by CVA or who ever?" **waves her hand about randomly**
D. "Sure did, the whole sector was put on alert incase any fighting spilled over the border. It didn't but for about thirty seconds it was almost exciting, so what of it?"
M.S. "Well according to the Galnet broadcasts about it, the minnies seem to be concerned about the education of their people on practical matters and history and stuff." **more random hand waving** "I think we might be able to make some good and easy profits selling a few choice skill manuals over in their region, at least until they get themselves sorted"
D. "What skills did you have in mind?"
M.S. "Well one of the minnies was on about their peoples history and culture and stuff like that, oh and 'practical' skills too. Any ideas/recommendations?"
D. **Denton quickly checks his inventory** "Lets see what we have here that might be useful, hmm how about political science, indoctrination, assassination techniques, infiltration a beginners guide, torture methodology, bomb making for dummies, Galnet spin, Galnet spin advanced, and I also have a large stockpile of Rhetoric rant manuals I could do with shifting. We um liberated them from a um...wrecked Amarr transport that strayed over our borders and was destroyed by automated defenses before we could shut them down. ironic really many of these skill books were recovered from that wreck, I bet the minnies would have a fit if they realised how similar they are in some ways to the God botherers. But anyhow business is business, I could have them ready for shipment within the hour that OK?
M.S. "Excellent I'll be right over"
Unfortunately for our hero-ine, official duty forced her to cancel her business plans as a hoard of Gurista scum had invaded her sector and she was required to help put them down. She regretted the lost revenue, but made up for it with the bouties on the cartel ships.

See? That is exactly why we need own minmatar driven educational facilities, we cannot leave that to the caldari or the amarr.
Thank you for admitting, that we would not own the mentioned skillbooks by ourselfes. however, i believe that speaks for us rather than against us.

I believe it was more of a parable, or a short reality based story if you like to illustrate the irony of your conflict. Also if I am honest that conflicts like your have a way of drawing outside interest based not on the cause of the conflict but on the oppotunities which they bring.
Its clear that this facility is/was a base from which you train for and/or launch attacks on your enemies to claim otherwise is plain silly. Ironically those you oppose would no doubt do exactly the same if the situation was reversed. The thing about civil war is its never civil and they always begin with people who were connected before the first shots were fired. But they always drag in outsiders, over the past few months we have seen alliegances shift and solidify around new axis, and soon enough we will see national militaries attacking those with the incorrect standings reflecting some of those alliegances.
Personally I don't support or condone slavery, but at teh same time terrorism and indiscriminate butchery are indefenseable too. Causes that perpetuate wars like yours often turn into tit for tat exchanges between embittened combatants, the original cause long forgotten. Every atrocity justified by the rightousness of the cause, I put no stock in religeon or 'causes', all manner of barbarity can thus be justified as 'retribution' or the will of God.
The true measure of goodness and glory is in right action, undiluted by rhetoric or dogma, uninfluence by arrogance of cause, but justifiable in the heart of man by light of day.
If you can look into the face of a child and say in honesty today I did good, then that is the triumph and true glory of humanity, of the human spirit.
Because when you get right down to it we are all human beings, and we are all dying (even clone technology can fail sometimes). A wise man once said to me a man strives to leave his footprints on the earth (he was a dirtsider ) A wrong man will leave craters digging ever deeper to hell, a right man will blaze a trail to heaven.
I expect he was being metaphorical but I think he had a point.
**Disclaimer** Please excuse spelling errors, its late/early morning here in Umokka and I am very fatigued writing up this Galnet reponse and also my after action reports for the Navy on my latest defensive battles with Guristas.

**HAD TO CUT IT SHORT TO FIT IT IN SOZ!!**
I think I agree with you! Not sure what a parable is, but It wasnt a short story it was an actual conversation between myself and one of my agents. I posted it to show some of the irony of the minnie/amarr war.
Indeed I think that if the roles were reveresed then it would still be a tit for tat issue. The Caldari in me says yes lets take fiscal advantage where possible, but the human in me crys a little with each atrocity. There seems to be no military advantage in these attacks and the war never progresses. All that happeneds in the combatants become more callous and embittered and the origins of the fight become more distant, but even so anything and everything becomes justifiable in pursuit of the 'cause'
Its a terrible shame and a human tragedy doomed to repeat itself it seems as those involved become less and less reconcilable.
Unfortunately the factions are seeking a military outcome to a largely cultural issue and thus the cause is doomed to failure at the outset. But you can't tell them

No, i dont know why the amarr still defend their 'way of life'. i can only assume their economy is based on slave labour.
But the u'k for sure did not forget what we risk lives and hardware for every day.
I dont expect a cold hearted caldari to understand me though also i dont really care if you do or not, i write this merely for the few whom you managed to confuse.
RKK is also doing its share in the game of bloodshed, just with much less reasons for it as far i am able to tell with my limited knowledge.
Yes, on a high skilled level (our high ranked desertists in your organisation help youo with quality for sure)
- but from my point of view the 'cause' is much more questionable than ours.
If the topic starts to bore you, blend out the galnet transmissions. nobody forces you to read the amarr/matari related news.
If you want to be taken seerious, then explain your own bursts of violence in different areas of space.

And yet you are no closer to achiving your end to slavery/Amarr empire goals.

And no doubt that if the Amarrians offered to end slavery and so on you would find yet another cause or issue to take up with them, which I believe was my point that in conflicts such as yours soon you the freedom fighter/terrorist becomes so sundered from that which you fight for you loose your way. Soon you become a creature unable to exsist without the cause without the fight. I mean could you really lay down arms and become a farmer or a miner? If peace broke out?
Originally by: zoolkhan I dont expect a cold hearted caldari to understand me
First off "cold hearted Caldari"? on what did you base this assumption?
Originally by: zoolkhan though also i dont really care if you do or not,
Bags of thought and maturity went into this one, no wonder your winning your war.
Originally by: zoolkhan i write this merely for the few whom you managed to confuse.
Clearly your were looking in the mirror when you thought up this line, re: your cold hearted Caldari retort.....read the post you part quoted of mine again. I am sure the more cerebral Minnies and Amarr understood what I was trying to say with the tone and word of the message.
Originally by: zoolkhan RKK is also doing its share in the game of bloodshed, just with much less reasons for it as far i am able to tell with my limited knowledge.
1.) Not in your war so its irrelevant here. 2.) Didn't say I wasn't neck deep in blood, your point? 3.) Re-read the post baring in mind it was not a dig at U'K, you, CVA, or anyone just a commentary on the problems and issues with the kind of war you are fighting.
Originally by: zoolkhan Yes, on a high skilled level (our high ranked desertists in your organisation help youo with quality for sure)
I have no idea where you went/are going with this one? Care to enlighten me?
Originally by: zoolkhan but from my point of view the 'cause' is much more questionable than ours.
I am going to assume you ment to say "your cause is more quetionable than ours" in which case I would reply....
1.) BoB's and/or RKK's causes and motivations are not the subject here so again irrelevance. 2.) What do you know of BoB's/RKK's cause? Again I sense a relevance issues here.
Originally by: zoolkhan If the topic starts to bore you, blend out the galnet transmissions. nobody forces you to read the amarr/matari related news.
Again not sure where you are going except that it feels like a rant, and I am quite sure I gave you no cause for a rant so I am going to assume its a brutor thing. Either that or you really need to visit an exotic dancer with a sense of urgency!
Originally by: zoolkhan If you want to be taken seerious, then explain your own bursts of violence in different areas of space.
1.) I wasn't aware that in my original post a made any jokes? Infact I thought the tone of my original post was very serious and sombre addressing the many sad aspects of your war which bare similarities to a civil war and all the social pitfuls there off. 2.) As to my own bursts of violence, I assume your are talking about BoB's/RKK's bursts not my personal bursts as I doubt you know much about me personally I am not that famous (not for want of trying, more likely I am infamous thanks to several character assasins on this forum buts thats by the by) But again there is a relevance issue please keep on topic.
Re-read my post and try again.

America was a country of note from Earth that was of mythology/ancient history. England was the country from which many colonies were seeded accross the Earth in ancient, ancient Earth history/mythology.
Neither of which have any relevance to this thread so please leave it.
