Action is heating up at home, fleets going out often. The corp and alliance sport lots of infrastructure, tools, and amenities to draw upon, making the first steps into null-sec easier. New members are getting acquainted, and training sessions are planned, so consider applying to get in on the training sessions.

Some solid joiners lately. No surprise - we're pretty awesome.

More joiners take their seat in our violent space retirement home. Good times out here. Last month: Destroying Nulli Secunda, then Insidious Empire. Last week: Embarrassing Test Alliance. Presently: burning down nearby Black Legion targets. It's great.

More applicants each day, great to see! I suppose it pays off to get out of our space-recliners and check the recruitment forums occasionally, eh?

Another joiner.
We're like the Florida of Eve corps, a pleasant place to reside, jam packed with curmudgeonly, yet often sweet, elderly people. Except, suspended individually in tubes of Lorentz fluid, at the heart of titanic spaceships, each carrying the firepower of a small sun, burning down neighbors for their minor slights and provocation.

Yesterday, our Get Off My Lawn alliance, with Jolly Codgers significantly boosting it's numbers, booted Black Legion out of nearby space, and took a constellation for ourselves. Well, now we've got a problem. For all of this new, nice pocket of space, we need to fill it with plots to utilize in between fleets.
And that's where you come in.

With some breathing room and quiet time, and things going quite well, now's a good opportunity to join us, particularly if you're new to nullsec.

Quiet time never lasts. More action is generating at our doorstep in Delve. Good space, good times, good company for Codgers.

Have I mentioned we're new-ish player friendly? Codgers is a good place to learn the ropes of PVP and null sec. But we'll prefer at least a month of time in high-sec under your belt, to ease your learning curve. In the meantime, you can always hang out in our public channel, and get solid tips and advice.

I came to null-sec with these guys at ~3 million SP. You can too. I never regretted it... And you won't either.

Wars traditionally break out in the summer. Unlike in high-sec, wars of null-sec are not some game-ruining nuisance, but the main course of Eve's dinner table. And that's because we're prepared and know how to control the fight, we've been through the ringer year in and year out, and we've got backup. Join in before these wars go hot, so you can get an easy intro before going into the fire with the rest of us old guys.

All corps need to grow, and all of them are relegated to the same ways of finding recruits. But despite that similarity, the differences in quality can be stark. From the outside, you cannot tell the difference between a corp with years of iteration and refinement, established allies and infrastructure, experience with handling disaster and strife, and more importantly the know-how to prevent it. That's a diamond in the rough. Join Jolly Codgers and Get Off My Lawn, and you'll see the difference.

One of our random little perks: We run a very thriving and healthy market out at the far edge of Eve space. Not many alliances can claim the same.

We're a PVP-oriented group... But that does not stop us from pursing industry on the side. Planning for Crius expansion's indy changes is getting formalized right now. We have at our fingertips some of the richest, and rarest, resources that are required for a variety of manufacture projects. That's how it is when you own your space in the expensive neighborhood. It's always good to have new corp income streams.

Our current war is getting a bit dry - We seem to have sapped our opponents' will to fight. But I hear rumblings from rival coalitions that they want to start some business in our area. I do hope that's their intention. Saves us the trouble of jumping 5 systems out for fights.

Just finished off a major fleet engagement on our front porch, one system out from our capitol, in our sovereign territory. At the apex of the fight, there were about 2,000 pilots in-system, fighting around a POS. Very hectic and crazy, very fun. About a dozen of our corpmates were online and present at the time. This was one of our new recruit's first fleets... One heck of an introduction.
We won the engagement, of course.
This does not occur in high-sec.... nor low-sec, or even wormhole space. This is what Null- is all about, occasionally big fights, but always big purpose and impact. Head out to null-sec with a group of competent, mature newbie-friendly fellows. Eve is funner this way.

Sounds a blast. I am looking for a new place to call home - while 2000 pilots SOUNDS fun, how well did the game actually run?
Aside from REALLY big battles, do you have smaller engagements as well? I'm interested. |
