The Mega would make a better Vamp ship (Its, faster, has more hitpoints and powergrid as well as two extra high slots). HOwever no one ever uses it thusly becuase you can actually fit guns on it. PRoposal to fix blobbing and make Charisma useful.

Simple, Vampa-domi is so effective because of its drones bonus. It has a no-fitting-required option to replace the guns it doesn't fit to make room to fit multiple nos. Megathron has no such bonuses to drones, and therefore has nothing to reasonably replace the offensive firepower it loses through fitting a nos-heavy setup.
