I just started flying a Logistics ship recently (Scimitar) and noticed something that might make the ships a bit more popular. Right now my ships bonuses revolve around tracking and remote shield boosting. The shield boosting is very nice if I'm trying to cover Caldari ships or some Matari ships like a Tempest but the problem is that I really can't help out much with Amarr ships, Typhoons, Domis or any other armor tanking ships without a) getting very close and b) buring a LOT more cap compared to my shield bonuses.
Would there be any way to introduce shield AND armor bonuses for all logistics ships perhaps? Or even a partial boost to areas that aren't their strengths. Make the Scimitar have the same range for its shield and armor systems but maybe not give a full bonus towards armor repairers? It would really help with fleet operations where you have a wide range of ships that you might have to assist.
I realize that many ships need to be different in some ways in order to define them but trying to play a support pilot when you can only help a handful of ships effectively is a bit frustrating. Not only that but there are so few logistics ships being used these days I don't think it would create any problems. Thoughts?

A better request would be a drop in logistic module grid and cpu usage. Fitting a worthwhile number of remote repairers and transferers, on top of a decent tank is a nightmare...

Not a bad idea but my main concern is trying to support more than one type of tank at a time without worrying about destroying my cap or having to be very close to harms way.
The end is extremely f'ing nigh. |

Max out your skills and boost shield on them, i've got the scimitar myself
and can tank it with shield quite nice through a lvl4 or a complex.
Used it several times on an Armor tanked Phoon, using his Armor Repair as Backup to
my shield boost, quite nice so far :)
Small bonus on all other systems would be cool, so i could fit some remote shield on
my Guardian, or small rep on the bas, yeap i would like it.
CPU/PG Reduce would be cool too, i have PG Problems (all PG Skills maxed, PDU II fitted) when fitting 4 t2 med arrays and t2 AB, t2 SB.
Btw, someone spread Large Shield Transfer II on market asap, i can run 4 med t2 smoothly but Large t1 arent that effectiv ....
