Hello, i've made myself 6mil by trading and was thinking of picking up manifacturing, after i train the relevant skills..Does someone have advice about what kind(s) of blueprints to start on?..
I saw that most of the blueprints are very expensive, so I was wondering if it's worthwhile to do production when one is not in a company, but solo :)
Any advice is welcome ;)

apparently ammo is always the best route to start. Look for where people are running a lot of lvl4 missions (use the map to show npc kills) and start selling all kinds of ammo there.
============== This is a sig O RLY? - Imaran I've only done 4 hours of Tools for 2D graphics, give me a few weeks and i'll be cool, really. |

Ships are of course an option, but they need atleast production efficiency lvl4 to be profitable, and of course a bp.
But you can also produce low end items, like: cpu's, rcu's, armor repairers and such. They are low cost bpo's and have a very high profit, compared to other modules - you just have to sell them the right places

Best way to start is to stick with items people are gonna buy to equip a standard ship.
so MWD, ABs, drones, nanofibers, warp core stabs, common guns, miners etc etc etc. ___________________________________________ http://www.eve-tutor.com

Make a spreadsheet to calculate cost with the current mineral prices. Scout the systems you wanna sell in and get the sell price (not the buy price, never look at the buy price). Next, tab over to market history, and estimate the volume. About 1/3 of that volume could be you. Calculate profit using the following formula:
Profit/day = (Sell Cost - Fees and Taxes - Mineral cost with waste)*Volume/3
Find the one that you like the best and sell ^_^. I make some decent change selling Capacitor Power Relays in Rens....18k sell 8k to make, volume of 15/day. Keep in mind that you should have more than one thing selling at the same time.
Oh, and please, read Kaaii's most excellent Trading 101 in the Market Discussions forum...it's very useful.

Hello, thank you all for the help :) .. The trading 101 helped lot, as well as the tips about starting with "vital" ship components :)
