[31] Rattican, you're a bumbling idiot. If you can't figure out how to get CCP to stop billing your CC, you have no business owning a CC. Sure I guess there should be a big fat "CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION" button. Right on. Uh-huh. ;) Just do it like you would do it anywhere else. Email sales. It really isn't that hard to figure out. DO it quickly. The Eve universe will be a little cleaner thereafter. And gimme all your stuff. |

Maybe if your post was civilized or sensible you would receive civilized and sensible responses. Suggesting that the missing account cancellation is a "sneaky underhanded" scheme devised by CCP to scam you out of your money is laughably ridiculous and deserving of ridicule, I'm sorry but that's the simple truth.  Even given the remote chance that ANY company would ever try to do this, anyone with a credit card knows that it's YOUR CHOICE to charge your card, not CCPs - all you have to do is call your credit card company and tell them you are no longer receiving the service from CCP and to cancel the payment. [45] I have had quite a problem working this out myself. The instructions given to cancel the account seem to be for an older version of the website (e.g. its not called "Account Management", but "My Account). I have tried doing it through the logon screen as well with no result. It appears that the problem (and why people paying by CC are confused with why we are having issues), is that there is no apparent way to cancel Pay By Cash. From what I have read, I am guessing that Pay By Cash cancels automatically and that you do not have to renew. I would REALLY like some confirmation on this from CCP because I would be very upset if I thought that and I get another charge. |
