Edited by: Heff on 04/09/2003 19:40:38 Due to the recent events that make it difficult for miners to do business with TTI, Playboy Enterprises is buying minerals at prices above TTIĘs prices. Take this opportunity to sell your minerals to us if you would rather not have your mining fleets destroyed in the conflict.
Tonight (PST) we will place the following buy orders into the market.
Tritanium: 20,000,000 units @ 2 ISK per unit Pyerite: 5,000,000 units @ 5 ISK per unit Mexallon: 1,250,000 units @ 16 ISK per unit Isogen: 275,000 units @ 62 ISK per unit Nocxium: 90,000 units @ 236 ISK per unit
This initial order is just a small one. We will place additional orders as this order fills and we have determined which mineral(s) we need most. If nothing else, this order will add liquidity to the market and keep the mining corporations running smoothly.
These minerals must be delivered to the Egghelende system in Sinq Laison. Follow your market map. Egghelende is a lawful system with sentry guns at all entry points. Regardless, please take the necessary precautions whenever traveling through space.
Stay Tuned: We will begin selling battleships to the public very soon. I have heard rumors of captains getting their ships blown up immediately after purchasing them from TTI. I do not know if this is true or not, but we will be giving customers another option if they prefer not to risk their money with TTI.

Why sell to you people at those prices when you can sell to Techell at:
Tritanium: @ 1.5 ISK per unit Pyerite: @ 5 ISK per unit Mexallon: @ 16 ISK per unit Isogen: @ 64 ISK per unit Nocxium: @ 256 ISK per unit
And you wanna know what. They will buy minerals everyday and in larger amounts! Not just once in blue moon like you guys! Boycott Playboy!

Why? 1) Because he's offering the same prices as you are for the stuff I'm selling 2) Because I've dealt with him before and found him to be a decent bloke 3) Because he's giving me a location to go to to sell it which is near my base
Seems reasonable enough to me

Boycott? For giving people the opportunity to sell their minerals? That's funny. If someone is considering a boycott for reasons that stupid, we'd rather not have their business.
Boycott... that's comedy.

Never heard of that before and duno about the truth of it, but I have bought 2 battleships from TTI so far and have been happy. My first battleship I blew up myself in combat :P

Combat with who, Marine? The problem was, some people went up to Venal to buy a ship, and on their way back they got blown up by Space Invaders and/or Paladins of Red Skull, which are pirate corps that just happen to be TTI allies. TTI also has very strong ties to M3G4 and M0o, having paid both for 'black-op' services. As to that person asking about who TTI is, they are evil. In attempting to be the symbol of capitalism they have instead become the symbol of corporate corruption, deal with them at your own risk. As far as the minerals, playboy and techell got their list in so I might as well too... In Lonetrek i'm paying:
1.5 for trit 5 for pyerite 15 for mex 60 for iso
I only deal in bulk order person-to-person, so these arent on the market anywhere. Just contact me in game. I am based in Oipo, but I will come to any system within 8 jumps to pick up the minerals myself. Additionally, if you are a low-end miner looking to get into a battleship, I would be more than happy to do a straight mineral trade for any of the 6 battleships I produce, i.e. a Megathron for 35 million trit, 7 million pye, and 1.5 mex or something of the sort. Contact me in game about anything.

TTI is Taggart Transdimensional Inc. They are one of the biggest corps. in game. They have found themselves in a number of conflicts lately and as such their market places can be a bit rough and tumble.
I've never personally dealt with them so I don't have any opinion other than that their wars have made for great reading here. --------------

Beule, it was just an example. Those were numbers I took from a deal I did about 2 months ago, when trit was still 1 and pyerite was still 4. And it's a public forum, quit whining about threadjacking. Look on the bright side, im keeping the original post at the top so more people can read it. Heff, i'm hereby charging you for advertising Anyway, i'm advertising for Lonetrek/Forge area, i'm not touching any of Heff's business in Sinq Liason.
