i downloaded the update and it says unable to connect to connect to selected server. Please check adress and try again.
Any idea?

Im getting it here too.... downloaded the patch, patched and nothing.
It wont even bring up the amount on the servers etc either.

Ok, so the servers not up.... so whens it going to be up?
The site said 17:00, the little note on the login screen said 18:00.
Anyone know?

is there any ETR for the server and is the auto-patch problem the cause? is this going to be a future drive me up the wall issue?

Lol another eve problem.. Im surprised they haven't lost any members of this game to patches.. they seem to have problems with patches everytime. Please get this fixed im having problems too. We do pay for this game u know?? Overpriced game too..

it was an "emergency" shutdown. Was probably either some really big issue with the cluster, or as someone posted in another thread an "item duplication exploit." Imagine what that would do

Calm the **** down, patch days are like this, just set a long skill training and take it easy, should be back up soon.

I'm such an idiot. I've downloaded the patch and was wondering why the **** I couldn't connect to server. So I was checking my Firewall for quite half an hour before checking the forum ... damnit

Although I am as mad at this problem as anybody,this is something that patches do(by the way this is directed toward the people mad at the game),but the patch that is coming out when we get back on offers 33 new ships as it said,and possibly a new structure of ship.
So I see no reason to complain about the patch crashing the servers....

Oh well i just got up.. so I guess ill go shower/eat and get ready and then hopefully this server will be up. If not, then the real meanside of me will come out :)
Second day on this game and im almost ready to use a cruiser.. PWNED!
