With the power of 2 deal coming around again, and the new (awesome) bloodlines, I was trying to work out the best race/ancestry/attribute distrubution for a pure industry/science character.
Was looking at the Vhrekior's, insane intelligence/memory starting attributes...
Made a test one that had...
9 intel, 4 percep, 9 charisma (boo), 3 willpower and 14 memory. 3 points into Memory and 2 into intelligence, with the ancestry that gave another 3 memory and one something else.
What would be the best combination to get an all out industry/science character? I'll be training Large Barge eventually, but don't see much beyond that as a ship skill training, so the will/perp isn't that big of a deal, just looking for the best possible intel/willpower combos...

Been doing math until my brain goes leaky, and in fact, Intaki is coming out on top, followed closely by Vherokior. :D

My intaki started with 14 mem, 10 int, 3 perc, 6 will and 6 cha. Comparitively, I think that's actually better off than those vhrekior's. Same memory, better int, better will, perc only down by one, and charisma down by 3.
I'd still go Intaki.

well are you going to mine to? i dont see any reason to ever gimp attributes to much. i created a caldari deitis with a lot of memory and then intel, but perc/will are still 20/19 with +3 implants. you dont want to be teh uber suxors in anything. this is with all adv learning to IV.

Personally, I would advise a balanced build for an alt too. Alts tend to train up all the random skills you don't want to waste time with on your main. This means a very spread out selection of primary and secondary attributes. Having everything at an ok level mean you will do ok at anything.

Yeah, took a quick look back, plugged in some attribute numbers into a skill spreadsheet, the Achura look really good for a well balanced race. The alts gonna get barge eventually, but since it is an alt, having a pure refining one is pretty lame, might want to train freighters some day (muhaha) so an Achura with...
